The Opening Ceremony of the Olympics is an international event and the whole world watches it. The event is held in a stadium. The stadium can hold tens of thousands of people.

Then, the other athletes enter in alphabetical order of the host country’s language. The host country’s athletes come last. For example, in 2008, the athletes from China entered the stadium last.
