Step I Lead in Introduce the teacher and her friend Teddy. Show the topic of this lesson. That is dates. And show the language goals of this lesson. Purpose : Arouse the students’ interest of study and relax students
Step II Warming up Enjoy a song about days of a week. After listening to this song, show the students about weekdays and weekends. Purpose : 1.Arose their interest. 2.Make them relax.
Step III Key words and phrases Look at a calendar and show days of a week. Mark today, tomorrow, the day after tomorrow; yesterday; the day before yesterday on the calendar. Purpose: 1.Master new words. 2.Consolidate their foundation of learning.
Step IV Make dialogues Activity 1. Make conversations about what today is. Activity 2. Make conversations about what the date yesterday was. Activity 3. Make conversations about what day tomorrow is. Purpose: 1. Improve their speaking skills and cooperating learning. 2. Improve their abilities of oral communication.
