Check the answers and find out relatives sentences . Ask students to read again carefully and get further information and finish 3b. Read the passage again carefully and fill in the blanks in 3c.

For example : I know that there are two special days for parents in America . I believe that it’s a good idea to help parents to do something instead of buying some gifts .

Step 2: lead in Ask the students to read the sentences in the grammar box,and pay attention to if ,whether,that ,and the teacher will tell the students what are the objects in these sentences. And ask the students to make some new sentences using if,whether,that. Step 3: tell the students that when they want to express our special feelings,we usually use what or how often we will put the in the beginning of the sentences Step 4: ask the students to make some new sentences using what or how. The teacher will give some help when they have problems Step 5: write sentences using the words given, ask the students to watch the example ,and make the sentences on the books. Finally they will check out. Step 6: reading Before reading the teacher will give some explanation about some new words and festivals.
