Language points:
1. —Is this your cap —No, it’s not mine.
这是你的帽子吗?不,不是我的。
考点:
该句中,your为形容词性物主代词,相当于形容词,不能单独使用,放在名词前做定语。
mine 是名词性物主代词,相当于名词,单独使用,后面不能接名词。
eg. This is my coat. = This coat is mine. (作表语)
His coat is red. Mine is black. (作主语)
注意:形容词性物主代词+名词 = 名词性物主代词
It’s my cap.= It’s mine.
It’s his T-shirt.= It’s his.形加名,名单行
It’s her book.= It’s hers.
It’s its bike.= It’s its.
They’re our bananas.= They’re ours.
They’re your oranges.= They’re yours.
They’re their cats.= They’re theirs.
形容词性物主代词 + 名词 = 名词性物主代词
口诀:
my变mine 牢记它,
his, its 无变化,
其余变形规律化。

考点:
(1)疑问词whose引导特殊疑问句,意为“谁的”,表示所属关系。在句中可单独使用,也可与名词连用。其答语用名词性物主代词或名词所有格。
eg. —Whose skirt is this = Whose is this skirt
—It’s Jane’s. / It’s hers.
(2)Sally’s是名词所有格,意为“萨利的”,也表示所属关系。’s名词所有格意为“......的”,多用于表示有生命的所属关系。
eg. Jenny’s dress
链接:’s名词所有格的构成规则如下:
①单数名词和不以s结尾的复数名词的词尾加’s;
eg. Tom’s shirt Women’s Day 妇女节
②以s结尾的复数名词词尾加’;
③ and连接的两个名词,如果分别用所有格,表示分别拥有;如果只有第二个名词用所有格,则表示共同拥有。
eg. Bob’s and Mary’s rooms 鲍勃和玛丽(各自的)房间
Bob and Mary’s mother 鲍勃和玛丽的妈妈(共同的妈妈)
注意:名词后’s可以表示所有格形式,也可以表示名词和is/has的缩写形式,我们必须根据具体的语境来来判断。
eg. Jack’s a boy. ( = Jack is)
Jack’s dad is tall. (杰克的)

考点:(1)宾语从句(否定转移)
I think... 意为“我认为......,我想......”,后接一个简单句,表明自己对某人或某事的观点、看法、态度等。
eg. I think you are right. 我想你是对的。
拓展:该句是宾语从句,其否定形式是对动词think进行否定,但在翻译时是对think之后的句子进行语义上的否定。(即否定前移/否定转移)
eg. I don’t think you are right. 我认为你不对。
We don’t think the coat is Joan’s. 我们认为这件外套不是琼的。
注意:进行否定转移通常要满足三个条件:
①主句的主语是第一人称I和we时;
②主句的谓语动词时表示“认为,相信、期望”等主观想法的词;
③主句时态为一般现在时。

Kangkang’s 意为“康康的”
’s名词所有格的构成规则如下:
①单数名词和不以s结尾的复数名词的词尾加’s;
eg. Tom’s shirt Women’s Day 妇女节
②以s结尾的复数名词词尾加’;
eg. Teachers’ Day 教师节
③ and连接的两个名词,如果分别用所有格,表示分别拥有;如果只有第二个名词用所有格,则表示共同拥有
eg. Lucy and Lily ‘s room (两人共有的房间)
Tom’s and Bob’s rooms (两人各自的房间)
拓展:
若名词所有格后是商店、住宅等地点的名词,该名词常省略。
eg. at the doctor’s 在诊所 go to my friend’s (house)。
(2)无生命的事物的所有格常用of结构。
eg. a map of China the name of the book

一.We look the same, but we are in different clothes.我们看起来很像,但是我们着装不同。
考点:
clothes为名词,意为“衣服,服装”,通指各种衣服,是衣服的总称,包括上衣、裤子等,只有复数形式,不能和具体的数字连用。
eg. These clothes are nice.
注意:
clothes作句子的主语时,谓语动词用复数形式。
eg. These clothes are too long for me.
(2)clothes作不能和具体数字连用,但是可以和these\those等连用。
eg. Those clothes are Mary’s.
对比: clothes与clothing都可意为“衣服”。clothes泛指所有服装,是总称;clothing特指某种服装,是不可数名词,作主语时,谓语用单数形式。

police是一个集体名词,指的是警察机构或警察人员的集合。若要表达具体的某个警察,则用policeman / policewoman。
1. He is twenty years old.他二十岁。
考点:
old是形容词,在句中可作定语和表语。...year(s) old意为“......岁”。old还有“旧的,老的”之意,其反义词为new(新的),young(年轻的)。
eg. This jacket is old. It isn’t new. (作表语)
He is an old man. He isn’t a young man. (作定语)

考点:
black在此句中作名词,意为“黑色”;in + 颜色(名词),意为“穿某种颜色的衣服”,此处颜色名词前不加冠词。
in是介词,和后面的名词一起构成介词短语,可作定语和表语。作定语时放在所修饰词的后面,称为后置定语。
eg. The boy in brown is my friend. (后置定语)
The boy is in white. (表语)
注意:颜色前加冠词用下面这个结构: in+a/an/the+颜色+名词,
同样意为“穿着某种颜色的衣服”。

拓展:black还可作动词意为“涂黑,使......变成黑色或弄脏。

拓展:look for 意为“寻找”,强调找的动作或过程。

(2)help在此句中是及物动词,意为“帮忙、帮助”
help sb. do sth. = help sb. to do sth.
意为“帮助某人做某事”,此处sb.要用人称代词宾格形式;(to) do sth.是宾语补足语。
