教学内容
Story time 学生能够根据上下文,看懂故事情节,并能理解其中的大致意思。学生能够按正确的意群和语音、语调朗读课文。学生能够根据线索,准确地找到文章中关键的信息。学生能够模仿其对话内容,进行分角色扮演朗读。

学生能够根据图片及音频等信息,理解故事的主要内容

教学过程
Step 1: Presentation
Greeting
Let’s talk
T: Look at this picture. He is Mr. Cat.
T: He is fat and strong. This is his restaurant. It is called “Mr. Cat’s Restaurant”.
T: How is he today Look at this picture, is he happy today (图1)
Ss: Yes, he is.
T: Then look at this picture, is he still happy today
Ss: No, he isn’t.
T: Why is he so angry What’s wrong with Mr. Cat
(用图片来引出今天故事的主角之一Mr. Cat,以及他的餐厅。另外,用两张图片来做对比,一张是Mr. Cat开心的表情,另一张是很生气的表情,这里给学生留下悬念,学生好奇,这一天到底发生了什么事情呢?)
Customers
T: Today here comes two customers. One is Zip, the other is the bird.
T: What are they like
S1: Zip is short.
S2: Zip is thin.
T: How about the blue bird
S3: It is little.
S4: It can fly.
T: That’s right.
(用图片来带入今天的两位顾客,一位是Zip,另一位是一只bird。先让学生来简单描述一下它们的外貌等,为下文的故事也做个铺垫)
Menu
T: Zip is hungry. So she goes to Mr. Cat’s restaurant for a meal.
T: Look, this is the menu of the restaurant. So many yummy food.
(Zip比较饿了,来到了Mr. Cat的餐厅,先带领学生来看看餐厅的menu,让学生来说说看,都有哪些好吃的。)
Step 2: Listen and answer

T: Then what would Zip like
T: Let’s close the book, listen and tick the pictures.
(在熟悉了餐厅的menu之后,让学生带着问题来听录音材料What would Zip like 学生需要带着目标问题,快速地在听力材料中截取重要的信息。)
T: Now we know that Zip makes three orders. Let’s listen again. And try to remember what’s for each order.
No.1 order:No.2 order:No.3 order:(rice and fish) (beef and noodles)(soup and vegetables)
(在确定了Zip点的菜之后,我们再将信息细分成三部分。Zip分三次来点菜,那么每一次都有点什么菜呢?让学生再将听力材料细碎化去听。)
T: Zip ordered so much food for herself. But she is so thin. Can she eat them up Will she waste the food
(Zip 这么瘦小,却点了这么多食物,让学生深度去发问,Zip能把它们都吃掉吗?会不会造成浪费呢。)
About the bird
T:How about the bird What would it like
T: Look at this picture, what’s in its mouth
T: Woo, it is a bill. Here is a bill. What happened to it
(注意观察bird嘴里含着的物品是bill,接着发问,引发学生思考,这里到底发生了什么事情呢?)

T: Let’s watch the video and read aloud after it.
(一起来观看视频,并大声地跟读。)
Role play
T: Look at the story, let’s read it again. Then read and imitate it.
T: One reads as Mr. Cat. One reads as Zip. The third one plays as the bird.
(一边阅读,一边模仿其语音语调,并让学生参与角色扮演朗读。)
Let’s order
T: Look at the six pictures, they are not in the correct order. Let’s order them correctly.
(读完故事,让学生根据故事发展的顺序,给6张图片进行排序。)
Step 4: Let’s talk
T: After reading, let’s think more.
Why does the bird take away the bill It is very hungry.It likes paper.It plays a joke. ...Will Zip pay for the meal Yes, she will. B. No, she won’t.
(故事虽然结束了,可以让学生接着往下去探索这个故事更好的结局,针对故事可能发生的事,进一步与学生进行探讨。)
T: Look at the menu, how much is Zip’s meal Let’s count.
Ss: It’s 39 yuan.
T: Woo. So much.
Step 5: Make a new bill
T: Though the bill is gone, we can still make a new one according to the menu.
T: Let’s help Mr. Cat make a new bill.
