一、语篇研读
What：本课语篇是Tiantian有关预测自己未来职业并选择该职业原因的独白。独白中，Tiantian主要谈论了自己未来职业的选择，成为一名飞行员或者一名工程师，成为他们的原因，以及遇到困难如何克服。
Why：Tiantian在独白中对梦想职业的预测和选择它们的原因，可以帮助学生去谈论自己未来的职业，了解现实与梦想之间的距离，培养学生为实现自己的梦想而努力奋斗的精神。同时也提供给学生如何使用英语准确描述自己的梦想，比如“Maybe I’ll be an airport pilot.”,“I would help people travel all around the world.”,“Or maybe I’ll be an engineer and build planes.”。
How：本课的语篇内容Tiantian预测自己未来职业并选择该职业原因的独白。独白可以分为三个部分:第一部分是谈论自己对未来职业的迷惑;第二部分是预测自己将来会成为一名飞行员，以及成为飞行员的原因是什么，并且遇到的困难要如何克服；第三部分是预测自己将来成为一名工程师以及成为工程师的原因。本语篇的主题句型如“Maybe I’ll be an airplane pilot.”,“Or maybe I’ll be an engineer.”等。
二、教学目标
通过本课的学习，学生能够：
1.掌握课标要求的词汇：page, pilot, fear, height, modle；a fear of heights, stop ...（from）doing...，take steps to ...。
2.学习一些向他人介绍自己理想的句型结构和语言表达方式。借助听说活动，有效提高听、说及阅读的能力。
3.通过听说、读说相结合，借助思维导图、给出关键词等，复述文本内容，掌握预期自己未来职业，向他人介绍自己理想的语言表达，能够使用英语谈论自己的理想。
4.掌握本课主要语法知识点，运用相关的语言表达方式，更好的理解课文内容。
三、教学过程

【教学目标】2.学习一些向他人介绍自己理想的句型结构和语言表达方式。借助听说活动，有效提高听、说及阅读的能力。

形容词比较级用于两个人或事物之间的比较。
总结形容词的比较级构成方式。
