There are forty-eight students in Class One, Grade Two, Chengcai Middle School. This is a survey about how they spent last Saturday.
Twelve students had classes outside the school. Eighteen students did their homework and read books at home. Ten students helped their parents do the housework. Five students said they climbed mountains with their family or their friends. They had a nice Saturday. Only three students were quite lazy. They slept late and played computer games.
From the survey we can see that most of the students are hard-working. But I think students also need to relax themselves sometimes.

Recently, a survey was done among 2,000 people about the ways of reading.
Here is what we have learned from it. 60% of the people like to read on mobile phones or e-readers, while only 38.4% choose to read paper books. So we can know that more and more people prefer to read e-books rather than paper books. However, whatever way of reading we choose, it can help increase our knowledge and open our eyes.
As for me, I am still used to reading paper books. Whenever I open a paper book, the smell of paper reminds me of the stories in the books from my mother when I was a little kid. Are you carrying too much on your back at school You’re not the only one. Back experts in the United States are worried that young students are having back and neck problems as a result of carrying too much in their backpacks (schoolbags).
“It hurts my back when I run,” said Oberlin Reyes, a student in Virginia. “It’s hard to get up the stairs with my backpack, because it’s too heavy.”
Oberlin is among students whose backpacks were weighed for a week in a recent study. They had regular backpacks with two straps (带子) to carry them, but a number of students with heavy loads had switched to rolling backpacks (which have wheels and can roll on the ground). Shirley Park, whose backpack weighed 10 kilograms, said she changed to a rolling backpack because she was starting to have back pain.
