Step I Lead-in (导入部分)
T: Hello! Boys and girls. Nice to meet you. Today we will learn the simple present tense of the verb to be .
Step Ⅱ Presentation
1. T: I am a teacher . What about you S: I am a student.
T: You are a student. What about your classmates S: They are students , too .
T: What about your father S: He is ….
T: What about your mother S: She is ….
T : What about Eddie S: It is a dog . (板书加粗线部分)
T: When we talk about facts and states , we use the simple present tense .

T: Good . 我用am ,你用are ,is 用于他、她、它,凡是复数也用are ,不能错来不能差。

很好。直接在be动词后加not。
