There be句型高考考点汇总
一、There be句型的基本结构
There be结构是英语中陈述事物客观存在的常用句型，表示“有”，其确切含义是“存在”，there 作为引导词，本身没有意义，其基本结构为：There be＋名词(短语)＋ 某个地点（或某个时间）。如：
1.There is a great department store across the street.
2.There will be a lecture tomorrow night.
二、There be 结构中的就近原则
就近原则，顾名思义，就是“最靠近，最接近”。讲得具体些，动词be的数与它最靠近的那个名词的数保持一致。请看例句：
1.There is some apple juice in the bottle. / There is a lovely cat under the bed.
当动词be后所接的名词是单数可数名词或不可数名词时，be 应该用单数；
2.There are some strangers in the street.
当其后所接的名词是复数的可数名词时，be应该用复数；
3. 如果there be后面跟了几个并列名词，动词be的形式和最靠近它的那个名词保持数的一致。如：
There is an ashtray and two bottles on the shelf.＝There are two bottles and an ashtray on the shelf.
三、There be结构中的时态
There be 句型中的时态，通过动词be的各种变化形式来体现，如：
1.There be结构的一般现在时：There is/are …
2.There be结构的一般过去时：There was/there …
3.There be结构的一般将来时：There is going to be … / there will be …
4.There be结构的过去将来时：There was/were going to be … / There would be …
5.There be结构的现在完成时：There has been …
6.There be结构的过去完成时：There had been …，请看例句：
（1）There were many wildflowers in the hills last spring. (there be结构的一般过去时)
（2）There will be a lecture given by Mr.Smith tomorrow.(there be结构的一般将来时)
四、There be 结构的变体
1.There be 句型可以和情态动词连用。其结构为：There＋情态动词＋be＋名词(短语)＋ 其它成分。用于这种结构的情态动词有：can,could,will,would,must,need,
shall,should,have to,be able to等等，如:
（1）He felt that there must be something wrong.
（2）There might be drinks if you wait for a bit.
2.There be句型和seem to，appear to，happen to，used to，be likely to等连用，稍作变形，写成there seems/appears/happens/used to be... 。如：
（1） There is likely to be a storm tonight.
（2）There happened to be a bus nearby.
五、There be 结构的灵动用法
There be句型中的动词be可以被一些不及物动词替代，如：live,stand ,lie,exist，remain等,表示“静止,存在有”；come,arrive,return,fly,flow,
follow,spring up等,表示“突然出现”。这样，显得不那么死板，表达更生动形象，语言一下子灵活鲜动起来，更具有画面感。如：
1. Once upon a time there lived a king in that country.
2. There followed a heated discussion after class.
此时，there ＋come(s) /lie(s)... 等等，又构成了一个完全倒装句。
如：There lies a mountain.正常语序是 The mountain lies there. 这样的完全倒装句，there可以替换成其他副词(如here,now,then)或者表示地点方位的短语。如：
1.Then comes my turn.
2.At the foot of the mountain flows a beautiful and clean river.
六、There be结构的非谓语动词形式
There be 结构的非谓语动词形式是there to be 和there being 两种形式。在句中作主语、宾语和状语。
1.I expect there to be no argument about this. (expect与to do搭配)
2.I never dreamed of there being any good chance for me.
(of是介词，后用动名词doing，充当宾语)
3.There being nothing else to do，we went home.
(there be句型的独立主格结构，充当状语，此处表原因)
There be结构的习惯用法
1.There is no point/sense (in) doing sth.做某事没有好处/用处
2.There is no need to do 没必要做某事
3.There is no denying that... 做某事是不可否认的
4.There is no/ little doubt that... 毫无疑问……
5.There is a little/ much doubt whether...有些疑问……
6.There is a good chance that...很有可能……
7.There is little chance that...几乎没有可能……
