此句可用来发表自己的见解，表示自己赞同他人的说法。若想
表示否定，可以说I didn’t think so. 类似含有so的表达还有：

It can't be. 不可能是。
在英语中，表示有客观事实作为依据的推测和判断时，肯定的
推断用must，而否定的推断用can’t。如：
That can't be Mary. She's in New York.
那不可能是玛丽, 她在纽约呢。
This can’t be John’s coat. His coat is bigger.
这不可能是约翰的外套，他的外套要大些。

后接形容词。

本句中的Doesn’t 用来加强语气。

句中的that是副词，指像Kate所说的“那么”遥远，可译作“那样，那么”。再如：

课文中用斜体印刷表示一种强调，显然Liz 对Kate的
判断和对她本人年龄的估算很不满意。

not more than的意思是“不超过；不到”, 而more than则表示“超过；超出”。
He is a kid really, not more than eighteen or nineteen.
他实际上还是个孩子，最多不过十八九岁。
If it costs more than ＄60, I won’t buy it.

I'm not more than twenty-nine myself. 我自己现在还没有29岁呢。
本句中，反身代词myself是I的同位语，用来加强语气。
