一 、教材分析
本模块为 Go For lt 八年级下册第八单元的Section A的听说部分。本部分谈论了外国经典名著,激发了学生对文学作品的兴趣,增强了对西方文化的认识。本单元听说板块采用任务型设计思路。1a为听力前活动,通过提问与中文四大名著引入听力内容。1b根据听力技巧的指导,创设情景,快速寻找信息,完成表格,让学生对听力文本有一个整体的了解。1c是一个同辈活动,学生两两一对相互提问回答,练习相关语言表达。2a-2b为细节性听力任务,通过问题辅助捕捉文本细节,并关注了相关语言表达。2d通填补空白的方式引导学生理解语篇,让学生继续进行对西方经典文学进行讨论,激发学生后续的学习兴趣,加强学生的文化意识。
二、学生学情分析
八年级的学生善良单纯,热爱学习,既热爱中国文学,也对西方文学有一定的兴趣。本单元的学习他们会学习和运用基本的现在完成时的用法。该班学生英语学习基础较好,对听力文本信息的抓取问题应该不大。本单元的话题有非常深远的文化意义,让他们在学习中,在听说中,更多的了解西方文化,同时取其精华、去其糟粕,增强本民族文化的认同感。通过这部分的学习,对提高学生的整体听说能力有较强的帮助。
三、教学目标
1.掌握本单元词汇,听懂、掌握谈论读书的语言材料。
2.能听懂语言材料,掌握听的技巧。
四、教学重难点
1.重点单词: treasure, island, classic等
2.重点句式:
——Have you read Little Woman yet ——No, I haven't.

Listening Task 2 1.Play the recording for the first time. Students listen and find the answers in 2a. 2.Check the answers. 3.Play the recording for a second time and say: Listen again and write T for true and F for false in 2b. 4.Ask one or two students to check the answers. Listen and then complete 2a and 2b. 1.Review the sentence patterns learned in the previous section. 2.Improve students' listening skills and phonetic comprehension abilities.
Speaking 1.Focus on the conversation in 2c. 2.Ask students to use the information in 2a and 2b to talk about the books. Use the information in 2a and 2b to talk about the books. Help students learn how to express their opinions and ideas in English and review the knowledge they have learned
