He set up a competition with other hospitals at the same time as the London Olympics in that year. Over the next ten years, the competition grew bigger and bigger with more hospitals in England taking part. In 1960, at the Rome Olympics, Guttmann brought 400 athletes to compete. The Paralympic Games
In 1948 , Sir Ludwig Guttmann , a doctor at
