Ⅰ. Teacher’s teaching objectives:
1.Learn the new sentences:
Have you got a pet Yes,I have.
What have you got ….
What is it ….
What colour is it ….
2.Make the children use the sentences to make dialogues.
3.Make children can talk about their pets.
Ⅱ Students’ learning objectives:
1.Learn the new sentences.
2.Can use the sentences to make dialogues.
Ⅲ Teaching procedures:
Step 1:Warm-up
A.Lead in
1.Say the words quickly (T shows the cards)
2.Write the words.
B.Make objectives clear
Show the students’ learning aims on PPT.
C.Achieve the desired results.
Step 2: Presentation and practice
Task 1:
A.First,show the sentences:I have got a pet.I have got a dog.Ss guess the meaning of “have got”.Then pratise to make sentences.
Next,show the sentences “Have you got a pet ” T asks Ss,Ss use “Yes” or “No” to answer.Ss ask T,T show the answer “Yes,I have.”T asks “What have you got ” Ss answer “I have got a ….”
Next,practice to say the dialogue in pairs. Then communication .
B. Learn to say the chant in groups.
C. Communication.
Task 2:
A. Introduce the four British children:
B. Listen to the tape and tick their pets.
C. Communication.
Step 3: Test and production
A. Do you want to know what my pet is
Can you write a letter to Toby about your pet
Conplete the letter.
B. Effect.
Ask some Ss to show their letter.
C. Summary.
Homework:
Complete the Part 3b.
