Analysis of the Teaching Material 本课是一节听说课,首先通过主题图中关于未来职业的谈论,以及几幅职业场景的图片将学生带人my dream job话题,la中罗列了学生之前学过的以及本单元新学的职业词汇,如 compute, programmer, engineer driver, pilot等,通过问题 What do you want to be when you grow up How are you going to do that 导入对话,呈现了本单元 want to be和 be going to do的重点句型,并由此引人学生对自己理想职业的打算和思考。1a-1c通过按个人兴趣为职业排序、听力练习及对话训练,以my dream job为话题学习相关生词和基本句型,并进而引出本单元的重要话题:生活目标(life goals)。2a-2b以听力活动的形式对本单元话题和句型进行了拓展,对如何实现理想的打算也进行了扩充,使新句型Are you going to move to Beijing When are you going to start 得以呈现。2c以问答形式帮助学生回忆、复习2a-2b听力材料中的内容,它不仅加强了对听力材料的巩固,而且问答形式给了学生更多表达的机会。2d是让学生在较为真实的情景中,运用之前学过的现在进行时以及本单元的核心句型be going to和 want to be,进行初步的模仿输出和语言交流活动。2d在原来话题的基础上设置了更为真实的景——与他人交流自己未来的职业。该对话中的Ken谈到自己正在拜读海明威的作品,打算坚持写故事,实现未来成为一作家的梦想。对话贴近学生的生活,能激发学生对未来的美好憧憬。教师借此机会鼓励学生树立为实现人生理想而努的决心和信心。本课是本单元的第一课时,在整个单元中起着话题导人、帮助学生热身的作用。
Analysis of the Students 学生在小学和七年级学过一些表示职业的单词,如:teacher,actor,actress,basketball player,runner, farmer, musician等,有一定的基础。每个人都有自己的梦想和对未来的打算,对于将来想要从事的职业也充满了憧憬。通过学习本节课的内容,激发学生的学习兴趣和积极性,使他们更有理想,并为实现自己的理想而不断努力。该班学困生多,选择学生熟悉与喜欢的内容的教学,提高学生学习兴趣。精简重点词汇与句型,分层次记忆与操练。加强课后的个别辅导,使他们在理解的基础上,能进行重点句型的朗读与仿写。为了推进话题的顺利进行,事先准备好不同节目的第一手资料,让学生有了真实感受之后再进行语言的输出。通过各种方式对新句型与新单词进行反复大量的操练达到语用的目的。
Analysis of Teaching Objectives Language ability 1.学生能运用以下单词及短语:grow up, computer programmer, cook, doctor, engineer, violinist, driver, pilot, pianist, scientist, be sure about, make sure ;2.学生能运用以下目标句型谈论梦想职业及怎样实现梦想职业打算:① ─What do you want to be when you grow up ─I want to be a basketball player. ② ─How are you going to do that ─I’m going to practice basketball every day. ③ Where are you going to work ④ When are you going to start ⑤ I’m not sure about that.
Learningability 1.学生能熟练掌握“3W+1H”句型及相关词句来表达梦想职业打算。2.让学生了解有关职业的英文表达,并运用“3W+1H”句型进行讨论;能说自己和他人未来想从事的职业及原因。3.掌握一般将来时态的构成形式; 表达将要做的事情。
Thinking quality 每个人都有自己的梦想和对未来的打算,对于将来想要从事的职业也充满了憧憬。 人们以常谈论他们的设想,因此,应通过学习这单元的内容来激发学生们的学习主动性和学习兴趣,使他们更加有理想,并为实现自己的理想而不断努力,找到并坚持追逐自己的梦想。

Step 1Lead-in 1.T plays a video and asks: What is it about 2.T says: Everyone has his own great idea. Today we are going to talk about the topic about your future intentions. Let‘s discuss: What are you going to be when you grow up 观看视频,感受其传达的积极意义。在老师的引导下,大胆说出自己的职业梦想。 利用视频材料,引入本课主题—职业梦想,引导学生谈论,活跃课堂气氛。
Step 2Pre-listening 1.New words Learning. What’s his/her job 2.Game time: Match the words with the pictures . 3.Go through 1a. T asks: Do you think these jobs are interesting 4. T asks: What’s your opinions about jobs Is it exciting or boring Is it easy or difficult 学习新词。根据描述,猜出职业名称。将职业图片和单词匹配。讨论个人感兴趣的职业。讨论对职业的看法,抽中的同学大声说出个人看法。 通过图片和简单游戏巩固词语, 便于学生更好的掌握各类职业词语。通过谈论,初步形成对职业的看法,注意正确引导学生的看法。为下一步听力做准备。

Teaching Reflection: 亮点之处
本节课主要学习了职业名称和有关未来职业规划。通过呈现图片,生动直观的向同学们介绍了各种表示职业的单词,同时呈现了目标句型和be going to结构,利用目标句型练习了职业名称。两段听力的输入,由易到难,为来的 role-play进行了充分的铺垫。整个操作过程是听说读写四个步骤,一环套一环,环环相扣,过渡自然流畅。
有待改进 不足之处是由于时间关系些地方没有尽情地展开。所以,虽然调动了学生的积极性,却没有让广大的学生充分的参与。
