本节课是本单元的第一课时，是阅读课，通过学习一般过去时的文章，让学生掌握用一般过去时讲述过去发生发生的事，同时掌握关于学校社团活动的表达方式。【What】主阅读篇章是发生在Bridge School的社团展览会，文章运用一般过去时讲述了Linda 和Leo在社团展览会上所见所闻，具体介绍了火箭和太阳能两个俱乐部。
【Why】读者通过阅读，了解学校特色社团活动，并积极参与社团。【How】该篇文章为记叙文，时态为一般过去时，以第三人称的方式，讲述了Linda 和 Leo的在学校展览会上的所见所闻，同时在文章中穿插了社团工作人员的介绍，让学生感知丰富多彩的社团活动，作者运用了surprised, amazing ,excited 等形容词，刻画人物的感受；激发学生的阅读兴趣，调动学生积极参与社团活动的热情。
学情分析
已知：学生对于“学校社团”有一定的了解，有利于开展阅读的教学任务。不确定：学生对于一般过去时的用法其实并不陌生，在小学已经接触过，只是没有进行专项的归纳性学习。在本节课中，教师可以系统地帮助学生温故而知新，引导学生在一定的语境中熟练运用不规则动词的过去式。

学生对于社团应从几方面讲述还不明确，词汇量也相对不足。利用学生对校园活动的热爱，通过词汇的学习以及阅读的积累，帮助学生更充分地掌握描述社团活动的词与句子，从而更加准确地为社团纳新制作宣传海报，以及更好地让别人介绍社团。(四) 解决措施鼓励学生在课堂上积极踊跃发言，尊重每个学生的想法，并给予客观公正的评价，而不是期待唯一的标准答案。2. 培养学生利用现代科学技术检索信息，查阅资料的能力。3. 在教学过程中，以学生为中心。创设让学生合作交流的学习情境，一起探讨、讨论，共同完成学习任务。并鼓励学生将所学内容与家长进行分享。4. 教学方式灵活多样，根据学生随堂掌握情况，及时做出调整和改进。5. 从多角度多维度对学生进行多方位评价。

通过Free talk中，学生的回答，评价学生对于目标语言的已知词汇量同时对相关词汇拓展。通过略读回答问题链，精读提取社团的关键信息，评价学生获取、梳理、整合信息的能力。通过听社团老师介绍所指导的社团情况，让学生完成社团的信息表，评价学生听获取关键信息能力。通过启发式课堂提问，小组活动，当堂巩固，评价学生对于一般过去时的基本结构，动词过去式的变化规则的掌握情况；同时让学生根据时间状语，选择正确时态造句，评价学生能否正确使用时态。通过小组对话，谈论自己学校的社团活动，评价学生能否能正确地使用一般过去时对话。通过读海报，提取海报的关键信息，评价学生提取、概括、整合能力。让学生完成学校昆虫俱乐部的海报，并让学生自主选择一个社团为其设计海报，评价学生是否真正内化海报的写作要求。
教学反思（实施后填写）
本单元的教学设计，在单元主题的指导下，基于话题对教材内容进行整合，将本单元的教学设计成五课时。每节课的设计都体现了任务型教学的理念，任务的设计由浅入深，层层递进；由于本单元的主题是学校社团，与学生的学校生活息息相关。通过海报的团队设计，鼓励学生参与丰富多彩的校园活动，培养学生广泛的兴趣爱好和团队协作意识和能力。
单元整体评价
经过本单元的学习，学生能够掌握一般过去时，并且能有一般过去时谈论过去发生的事。同时，在本单元中，学生学习了丰富了校园社团活动，并学会海报的制作，能够为自己感兴趣的社团制作海报并能够进行演讲，同时能够运用一般过去时记录自己的一次社团活动。但是还存在一部分同学，无法正确地使用一般过时，应该加强相关练习。
作业设计 这份作业是在学生学完了Unit 7 School Clubs布置完成的。在教学过程中，针对此话题对学生进行了听、说、读、看、写五个方面的技能训练，因此这份作业的主要目标是对本单元进行综合复习。通过三个任务，达成复习目标。
