单元主题意义 本单元的主题是人与社会,涉及的话题是社会进步与人类文明、科技发展与技术创新,以及科学精神与对未来的畅想。
单元教学目标 通过本单元的学习,学生能够: 目标a:能听懂关于预测未来生活的简短对话,用英语对未来做预测;能读懂对未来生活的描述。 目标b:学习做预测时设计的名词及短语,正确使用一般将来时表示对未来的预测。 目标c:关注社会生活环境,相信科学的发展会让未来的一切更加美好。 目标d:将语言学习与实践运用结合起来,在一般将来时中学会使用will,并且注意一般将来时在各种句型中的变化。学会在自主学习的同时,进行团队合作。 目标e: 通过对一般将来时的学习以及一般将来时各种句型的变化,让学生可以从谈论未来世界的话题拓展到谈论个人未来生活的话题。并以此为主题语境来了解未来机器人的发展趋势,加深对文化异同的理解,建构多元文化视角,培养社会责任感。 与核心素养的关系: 学完本单元后,学生能够发散学生思维,拓宽学生知识渠道,通过合作学习,帮助学生了解并借鉴他人的有效学习方法,不断提高自己的学习效率。通过引导学生展望未来,及对未来生活的设计,来达到前景教育的目的,同时也通过对前景的设想,让学生在潜移默化中反省自己的现状,使之对目前的学习、生活习惯作适当的调整,并不断的改善自己的现状,使学生的理想观和价值观更为科学,更具发展价值。
整体教学思路及教学结构图 1.来源& 内容: 本单元是《新目标英语》系列教材之一Go for it !八年级上册的第七单元。本单元围绕“谈论未来世界和未来生活”这个话题,呈现了一般将来时的句型以及there be句型的一般将来时的用法。通过设计形式多样的教学活动,让学生学会使用一般将来时对未来世界进行描述或预测,并进一步提高听、说、读、写的综合能力。 2.纵向知识关联: 功能:“will”构成的一般将来时。 话题: 预测未来生活。 语言知识: a:训练学生听懂预测未来生活的对话。 b:教会学生运用动词的一般将来时时态及形容词的比较级more,less, fewer 等对未来世界的样子进行合乎逻辑的预测。 c:指导学生读懂介绍未来机器人的文章,完成有关的练习题,用文章中的有关信息补全短文。 d:指导学生利用课堂上所获取的知识来放些一篇介绍未来机器人的文章。 e: 培养学生主动用一般将来时谈论未来的生活、对未来做出合乎逻辑的预测的习惯和意识。 3.横向知识关联: (1 )复习七年级下册的相关短语; (2 )本单元也反复强调表达一般将来时的用法,为以后的学习打下坚实的基础。 教学结构图:

Section B 2a-2e 读写课 第四课时 学会重点词汇及目标语言;在阅读中尝试概括段落大意,加强对篇章的整体理解;在阅读中尝试找出文章的主线。 激励性评价贯穿始末,考虑到学生的心里特征以及英语这门学科的特殊性,只要学生参与课堂活动中来并进行认证的反馈,教师均应给出鼓励性评价,以此来提高学生学习的积极性。
Section B 3a-Self check 写作课 第五课时 掌握单元活体的写作框架;熟练运用目标语言,谈论并描述未来的生活,培养自主能力。 作文当堂互评,再分析作文的框架和参考词汇后,让学生进行小组互评,最后小组展示最佳作文,通过白板展示,供全班学生赏析,学生互评的方式可以让学生通过取长补短,共同进步。

教材(语篇)分析: 【what】 本课内容是一节阅读课。文本话题是机器人。 【why】 通过设置读前预热、读中理解、读后检测和拓展等活动,让学生了解机器人的由来,发展过程、对人类活动长生的重大影响等,并把所读信息转化成对话信息,关注语言的使用。 【how】 引导学生关注生活,展望和相信未来,崇尚科学,探索和创造未来,从而对学生进行适当适当的情感态度的教育。帮助学生树立远大的理想,增强科学探索精神。
学情分析: 自然情况 经过前面的听说以及语法教学,学生对本单元的目标语言已经有了较好的掌握。能够较好的运用目标语言进行一系列的听说活动,表达自己的思想,这为接下来的阅读教学打下了良好的基础。 (二)已有基础 文本的话题是机器人,时代感很强,大部分学生会比较感兴趣。

3.Scientists are now trying to make robots look like humans and do the same things as we do. Some robots in Japan can walk and dance. They are fun to watch. However, some scientists believe that although we can make robots move like people, it will be difficult to make them really think like a human. For example, scientist James White thinks that robots will never be able to wake up and know where they are. But many scientists disagree with Mr. White. They think that robots will even be able to talk like humans in 25 to 50 years.
