一、教学目标:
(一)知识目标:
1.全体学生能听说读及运用新单词:ship ,city, beautiful ,whose close.
2.能运用 This is... / It’s...简单描述一座城市,一处景物的特征。
3.能合理运用句型:
London is a big city.
My house is very small, but it' s very beautiful too.
It’s close to the queen’s house.
Whose xx is it It’s xx’s.
(二)能力目标: 培养学生认真观察事物能力、发散思维的能力、合作探究能力、解决问题的能力及语言表达能力
(三)情感态度目标:让学生乐于接触外国文化,增强祖国意识。二、教学重难点:
1、单词 beautiful, whose, queen, close 的发音。
2、 London is a big city. It’s very big and very beautiful. It’s close to the queen’s house. Whose xx is it 等句子的理解和运用
三、教具准备:课件、卡片、图片。
四、教学过程:
Step1.Warming up.
1. Greeting : Hello , boys and girls! How are you 等
2. Play a game. Draw and guess. First I draw a big apple and a small apple. Revise the word big and small. Then I draw a boy and a girl in order to revise tall and short.
(设计意图:师生间简单的对话拉近了距离,为新课的开展营造了良好的氛围。Game的应用,不仅提高了学生的学习积极性,消除紧张的心理,而且复习了以前学过的几个形容词,为本课的导入做好了铺垫。)
Step2. Review and leading in
1. Chant.

T:Now I tell you ,it’s a ship. Teach “ship”. Now open your books, turn to Page8. Activity1,Listen ,point and say. Now let' s watch .通过 chant及动作学生进一步复习了之前学的一些形容词, big,small,tall,short等形容词。播放活动一动画,请学生看图感知形容词的用法。再次播放录音,请学生跟读,注意 ship发音,讲授并操练。
(设计意图:通过 chant及简短的对话,自然的过渡到新课的学习,让学生有个整体的感知。)
Step3. Presentation1. Listen to the song:
London bridge is falling down. First,let them listen carefully, and then I ask two students to built a bridge. And ask a line students to go through the bridge .At last catch a lucky girl.
(设计意图:通过游戏调动了学生的积极性,发挥了学生的主观能动性,让其在玩当中不知不觉的掌握了本课的新知,同时突出重点;)2. Teach the new words: beautiful, whose, queen.
T:You are a lucky girl, so I want to give you a present.

Ss: It’s a flower. This flower is beautiful. Teach the new word “beautiful”.
T: This is my flower. Whose flower is it
Teach “WHOSE”. Whose flower is it
Ss: It’s Liu Yinuo’s flower.
T: Whose flower is it
Ss: It’s Zhang Yuqing’s flower.
T:Now,you can go back with your flowers.
Ss: Thank you.

S:It’s in London. Can you tell me something about London
Ss: I don’t know.
T:Now look at some pictures .Who can say something about it

T:Yes.It’s a big city.
Teach “city”. London is a big city. So there are many beautiful places. Now, look what’s this

T:It’s Buckham Palace. Look, this is a big and beautiful house. Is it your house
S1:No,it isn’t.
T:Is it your house

T:Now look at the picture :

Teach” queen”. Boys can’t say “I’m a queen.”
You should say “king”, I’m a king.

S2:It’s beautiful.(设计意图:通过展示建筑图片,学生能直观的了解建筑物的特点,加深了他们的印象,也吸引了他们的注意力,同时激发了他们的学习英语的兴趣。)
T:Very good, it’s small and beautiful ,too. Now look ,this is the queen’s house, this is Amy’s house. Teach “close”.
(设计意图:通过听歌曲,做游戏,看图片等一系列的活动,让学生在语言环境中学会了新单词,为下面学习课文做好了铺垫)。3.Activity2.
T:Amy and Lingling are friends, now they are at home together. Now look at the video and then answer: What are they doing (1).Play the animation in Activity2 to make students perceive the text as a whole. Then answer my question.
(2).Listen and answer.
(3).Red in pairs and then fill in the table. A few minutes later, ask a student to answer.
(4).Read again and then fill in the blanks in groups.
(设计意图:首先通过看动画,学生能大体理解文章的内容;然后,通过听和回答问题,学生们进一步掌握了本课的重点单词和句型;最后,通过读课文填空,学生们能达到复述课文,为下一步的复述做好了铺垫。)
(5) .Retell the text. Ask two students to make a dialogue, according to the pictures that on the blackboard.
(设计意图:)回归课文,使学生在进一步掌握重点的基础上理解课文。

(设计意图:出示北京天安门的图片,让学生用所学句型进行描述,达到了对新知的巩固。)
Step5.Summary.
1. Let students read the words and sentences together.
2.Chant今天的重点新单词,我为其编顺口溜,朗朗上口,便于牢固记忆。
(设计意图: 通过说唱总结提高了学生学习英语的兴趣,也进一步巩固了本课的单词和句型。)
Step6.Homework
1.Listen and read the text.听录音,读课文。(必选)
2.Try to find more scenic spots in London.收集更多伦敦景点信息。(可选)
