Ludwig van Beethoven was one of the most famous and influential German composer and pianist. Athough during the last decade of his life he was almost totally deaf. He continued to compose; many of his most admired works come from this period. When one door of happiness closes, another opens; but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one which has been opened for us.?
