语言点导学:
1. How do you get to school
how是疑问副词,表示“如何,怎样,以何种方式,用什么手段”。本句为how引导的特殊疑问句,用以询问交通方式。常用How do/ does+主语+ get to+某地 其回答方式有两种: ①主语+ take/takes + a /the +交通工具名词+to +某地.
② 主语 + get to/gets to + 某地+by+交通工具名词(单数).
eg: (1). ---How do you get to school
--- I walk to school. = I get to school on foot.
(2). ---How does she get to school
--- She rides her bike to school. =She gets to school by bike.
(3). ---How do they get to school
--- They take a / the bus to school. =They get to school by bus.

3.“take + a/the+交通工具”与“by + 交通工具”的异同:
相同点:二者均表示乘某种交通工具。
不同点:(1) take +a/the+交通工具为动词短语,在句中作谓语,位于主语之后;而by+交通工具为介词短语,在句中作方式状语,常位于句末。
(2)take与交通工具之间需加a/the,而by与交通工具之间不能加任何词。
eg:by bus /train / plane / subway
take a / the bus / train /plane / subway
另外:take + a/the+交通工具名词+to + 某地= get/go / come to + 某地+by +交通工具名词
walk to +某地=get/go/come to +某地+on foot
eg: I take a train to Beijing. = I go to Beijing by train.

语言点导学:
1.one hundred and five一百零五
hundred是数词,意为“百”,当我们表示具体的“几百”时,用“基数词 + hundred”,注意此时hundred不加“-s”. eg: one hundred. eight hundred
拓展:hundreds of 表示“数百,成百上千的”,这时hundred后有“s”,且后面有介词of,但是不能与数词连用,其后常跟可数名词的复数形式。

(1)how far “多远”常用句型为:How far + is it +from A to B 用于询问两地间的距离,答语用“It’s + 表示距离的短语 ”。

注意:①--- How far is it from your home to school
--- It’s about ten minutes’ walk / ride /drive.
大约10分钟的步行/骑车/ 开车的路程。
此答案中 ten minutes’ walk/ ride/ drive是用时间的所有格来表示路程距离。
②在回答how far的提问时, 通常有两种情形:有具体的数字时,可与(away) from 连用,没有具体数字时, 应用far或near作答。

(2)I’m not sure. 我不确定。当被问及自己不太确定的事时,人们通常会用I’m not sure…,来给自己和别人一些思考的空间,后面常会跟一些解释说明的句子。 sure为形容词,意为“确信的,必定的”be (not) sure 表示“(不)确定”,后面可以跟of/about 介词短语,动词不定式to do或that从句。
3. The bus ride takes about 20 minutes. 乘公共汽车大约花费20分钟。
ride在此处为名词,意为“ (骑马或乘车的)短途旅行,路程”
eg:go for a ride 去兜风 give sb. a ride 开车带某人一程/让某人搭便车
The train ride takes me 40 minutes to get there. 乘火车到那儿花了我40分钟。
4. How long does it take you to get to school 它需要花费你多长时间到达学校?
(1)how long “多长时间,多久”,用来询问时间,指时间的长短。答语为表示一段时间的名词性短语。
eg: --- How long will we stay there 我们要在那儿待多久?
--- For about a week. 大约一周。
(2)本句中take作“花费”讲,常用句型为“It takes(sb.)+时间+to do sth”是固定句型,意为“某人做某事花费时间”,其中It为形式主语,其真正主语是后面的动词不定式“to do sth”.
eg:It usually takes him 2 days to clean the room.通常打扫这房间要花他两天的时间。
It takes me about an hour to do my homework every day.

It is + adj. +( for sb ) +to do sth. “(对某人来说),做某事是……的”,it 是形式主语,真正的主语是后面的动词不定式to do sth。

afraid 形容词意为“害怕、畏惧”,在句中只能作表语,放在be动词后,常用搭配:(1)be afraid to do sth. 害怕做某事eg: He is afraid to go out alone at night.他害怕晚上独自外出。
(2)be afraid of sth. 担心某物eg: She is afraid of the snake. 她害怕蛇。
(3)be afraid of doing sth. 担心做某事 eg: Alan is afraid of crossing the river.
(4) be afraid that… “恐怕、担心”表示对将要发生的事情的担忧that可省略。eg: I’m afraid I can’t come.恐怕我不能来了。
