一、基数词
1、基数词概念:
2、基数词的构成(了解即可):
1)1-12, 独立成词。

2)13--19, 由 3-9 + teen 构成。
14–fourteen 特殊拼写: 13– thirteen 15--fifteen 18—eighteen
3)21-99 (两位数) 十位与个位之间有 “-”。

表示数目多少的数词.
一、基数词
4)20-90, 以-ty 结尾。 60---sixty
特殊拼写:20---twenty 30---thirty 40---forty 50---fifty 80---eighty
5)百—hundred 千—thousand 百万—million 十亿—billion
6) 101-999, 三位数, 百位与十位/个位之间加 and,十位和个位用“-”连接。
101 one hundred and one 840 eight hundred and forty
7) 1, 000以上数目,从右向左每三位用“,”分开,
分别读为thousand, million, billion
一、基数词
基数词,不难记,找出规律很容易
零至十二形各异,一个一个单独记。
后加-teen 为“十几”thirteen, fifteen
看仔细,eighteen只有一个t.
表示“几十”要加-ty, twenty, thirty是例外,
forty, fifty 更厉害,和eighty一样搞例外。
表示数字“几十几”,连着符号要切记。
若要表示“几百几”,and 常把百、十系。
还有一点要注意,几百后别把-s立。

2、序数词的构成(了解即可):
1)1-3, 独立成句 first, second, third
2)4-19, 相应基数词+th, fourth
特殊拼写:fifth, eighth, ninth, twelfth
3) 序数词缩写——数字+最后两字母 如:1st, 2nd, 3rd ,4th…
4) 20-90, y 变成 ie +th, 如:twentieth
5) 21-99, 只把个位的基数词变成序数词 如: twenty-first
表示顺序次序的数词.
二、序数词
基变序,有规律
一二三,特殊记,加 th 从 4 起,
八去“t”,九去“e”,“ve”要用“f”替,
见“y”变成“i”和“e”,词尾加上“th”,
若是遇到几十几,只变个位就可以。
序数词缩写记清楚,数字后跟两字母。

Attention !
(1)序数词作定语, 前面要加the; (表示第几)
John lives on the fifteenth floor.
如果序数词前已经有物主代词或名词所有格时, 不可再加定冠词the.
It’s Monday, and it’s my fifteenth birthday.
Is it Lily’s fifteenth birthday, too
(2)有时加a/an, “再一”, “又一” 的意思
We’ll have to do it a second time.
三、数词的用法
1、hundred, thousand, million,billion的特殊用法:
①前面有具体数目,hundred, thousand, million, billion不用加s和of;
800(eight hundred), 3, 000(three thousand)
②表示不确定数目,加s 加of.
hundreds of (数百)
thousands of (数千)
millions of (数百万)+ 名词复数
③可以用many/several/a few修饰,several hundred tourists.
口诀:
具体数字直接加,
不确定时,有s有of

特殊读法 15分钟: 30分钟: 2:30
逆读 当分钟<30时用past(过)即“分钟+past+钟点数” 7:20
当分钟>30时,用to(差)即“(60-分钟)+(钟点数+1)” 6:40
当分钟等于30时,用“ half past+钟点数’’ 7:30

房间号码和电话号码要一个一个分别读

口诀:
子基母序,
分子>1, 分母就要加S
in + one's + 整基数词的复数形式(twenties, thirties, forties...)
eg: He died in his forties.

in the nineties 90年代 在20世纪30年代: in the 1930s
“基数词+名词” 的合成形容词作定语, 中间有连字符“-”, 当中的名词用单数。
Eg: a 3-year-old girl = a three years old girl
表计量——“基数词+度量单位+形容词”
eg. The classroom is 7 meters long, 6 meters wide.
三、数词的用法
8、加减乘除表达(了解即可):
加 plus, and或add 2+3=5 Two plus three is five.
Two and three is equal to five.
Two and three makes five.
If we add two to/and three, we get five.
减 minus/substract 10-6=4 Ten minus six is four.
乘 times(介词)或multiply 3×4=12 Three times four is twelve.
Multiply three by four, we get twelve.
Three multiplied by four makes twelve.
除 divide的过去分词形式 16÷4=4 Divide sixteen by four, we get four.
Sixteen divided by four is equals/gives/makes four.
