Today, I was watering the flowers inthe garden when little Mike pointed to a __51__ on the grass and
asked me what it was.I smiled at him, said it was a sparrow and
kissed him.51.A.foxB.frogC.birdD.rabbit解析根据下文内容可知,sparrow 意为“麻雀”,属于鸟类,故选 C。
She pointed to something and askedMike what it was.Mike felt quite __46__, but he told her it was a
sparrow (麻雀) and got back into reading.46.A.angryB.lonelyC.proudD.surprised分析上下文可知,妈妈问的这个问题令他感到意外, 解析
例 3(2014 年广东)This time Mike could not __48__ hisanger. He shouted at her for disturbing him again and again.48.A.showB.leaveC.controlD.discover解析由下文的“He shouted at her...”
The old lady silently __50__ an old diary, turned to a page and showed it to Mike.50.A.set out
C.put out B.took out
D.looked out解析本题四个答案都符合语法,但结合下文 turned to apage and showed it to Mike 可知,只有 B 项“took out (拿出)”
Something gently touched Mike's __54__.
His face turned red with shame for being so impatient to...54.A.faceB.mouthC.heartD.shoulder解析通读全文后可知迈克在看完日记后内心被触动而感到羞愧,故选 C。
Several minutes later, his mother pointedto the same sparrow and asked the same question again.Mike got a
little angry but __47__ answered her question.47.A.stillB.alwaysC.AlreadyD.seldom解析空格前的句子表示迈克有点生气,空格后的句子表示他仍然回答她的问题,but 表转折,故选 A。3.
