第1课时 Read aloud & Listen and number the rooms
教学内容
Read aloud 学生能够理解故事大意。学生能够整体认读句子,用正确的语音、语调朗读对话。学生能够在情景中,综合运用4~6单元中的核心句型。学生能够在语境中,理解新词“Father Christmas, turkey”和情景语言“Merry Christmas”的意思,并正确发音。
Listen and number the rooms 学生能够看图说话,并完成听录音给房间标号的任务。学生能够复习巩固描述房间名称,及室内陈设的重点词汇及句型。
Look, listen and write 学生能够根据单词读音填出对话中所缺少的单词。

学生能够复习并巩固第4到6单元的核心单词及句型。

教学过程
Step 1: Warm up and presentation
1. Greetings.
2. Warm up
T: Christmas Day is coming. What can you see on Christmas Day
S1: I can see a Christmas tree.
S2: I can see a Christmas gift.
S3: I can see Father Christmas.
T: He is Father Christmas. We can also call him Santa Claus.
(用一张很有圣诞节日气氛的图片,引出今天的背景Christmas Day, 进一步展开话题,What can you see on Christmas Day 在圣诞节会看到的物品,为下文的Christmas tree还有Father Christmas, Santa Claus先提前铺垫)
T: What can we do on Christmas Day
S1: We can sing Christmas songs. (带领学生一起唱熟悉的圣诞主题曲We wish you merry Christmas)
S2: We can have a Christmas dinner with family or friends.
S3: We can eat turkey. (引出圣诞节专有的食物turkey)
(接着话题What can you do on Christmas Day?让学生看图片一起来说说看,唤起大家对圣诞节的回忆,一起合唱圣诞歌曲,烘托节日气氛)
T: What can we say on Christmas Day
Ss: Merry Christmas.
(然后引入话题What can you say on Christmas Day 圣诞节时大家之间的祝福语Merry Christmas,为下文的内容作个提前认识)
3.Presentation
T: Look, he is Mike. He invites his friends for Christmas dinner.
T: Welcome to Mike’s home.
T: Look! A beautiful Christmas tree is in the living room.
T: Mike’s parents are busy in the kitchen.
(引入今天对话的主角Mike,他邀请朋友来家里参加Christmas dinner。简单介绍了家里的Christmas tree还有Mike父母在忙着晚餐)
Step 2: Read aloud
Listen and answer
T: Look at this man, is he Mike’s father
T: Look at this woman, she is Mike’s mother. What’s her job
T: Let’s listen and find out the answers.
(接着,比较自然的引入Mike的爸爸妈妈,图1是圣诞老人装扮的是Mike的爸爸吗?图2是Mike的妈妈,她的工作是什么呢?让学生带着疑问来听听力,并从中找到相应的答案)

T: Dinner’s ready now. Look at the food on the table. What can you see
S1: juice.
S2: bread.
S3: turkey.
S4: salad.
S5: beef
(晚餐时间到了,看着餐桌上的食物,继续提问学生What’s for dinner 学生再次回顾旧词汇)
Let’s read
T: Great. Let’s watch the video and read after it. Try to imitate it.
(观看视频,并跟读模仿。)
Act out
T: Let’s read the dialogue again. Read aloud and act it out.
(模仿对话,并分角色来进行扮演朗读。)
Step 3: Listen and number the rooms
Let’s talk
T: Let’s look at Mike’s home. Where is it now And what can you see in the room.
S1: Living room. I can see a red sofa, a Christmas tree, a TV.
S2: Kitchen. I can see a fridge, a table and two chairs.
S3: Bathroom.
S4: Mike’s parents’ bedroom. I can see Mike’s parents and a bed.
S5: Mike’s bedroom. I can see Mike, a green bed and a red sock.
S6: Study. I can see a desk and some books.
(Mike家的房间介绍,进一步复习并巩固房间词汇)
T: Look at the picture, who is the man
Ss: He is Santa.
T: That’s right. Look! He is going to put the gift into Mike’s sock.
(引导学生去观察图片,并从图片中发现Santa还有一只袜子,原来是Santa打算把礼物送到Mike的袜子里)
Let’s listen
T: Look at the rooms and number them in the correct order
(Santa能不能顺利把礼物送到Mike的袜子里呢,听一听,并按顺序标上序号)
Step 4: Look, listen and write
