【教材分析】:

【教学过程】:
(一)导入:老师热情地问候学生们,用 chant 调动气氛。看长城的视频,回答问题导入课文。
(二)探究新知:
1.让学生看书,听听 Daming 和 Simon 的对话,听完之后,让学生说一说:

2.再放录音,让学生勾出文中的重要信息,引导学生回答以下问题:Listen, read and match
How long is the Great Wall
It has got more than eight million.
How big is New York
It has got about twenty million.
How big is Beijing
It's more than twenty thousand kilometres long.
3.让学生打开书,放录音,学生边听边看书,勾画出课文中的生词。 教师讲解单词:

讲解课文重点句型:

【课后反思】:
教学外研版六年级上册第一模块第一单元 Its more than twenty thousand kilometers long 时,教学新单词,thousand 的发音不太准确,后反复操练了几次很有进步,后在文中反复操练,巩固时特别注意了这个单词的发音。这个单元主要的就是要掌握怎样介绍长城。谈论纽约和北京;学会用 How long(多长)和How big(多大)来提问的特殊疑问句。我通过课文和图片展示了重点难点,要求学生会用数字表达

How long\ big is it 学生在这时握的还不够熟悉,后通过展示图片(标示出大小和长度),让学生分组练习介绍它们,再推选学生作为代表展示成果,回答得最好的一组加一颗星,提高学生学习英语的兴趣,学生基本上是掌握了知识目标。
