重点句型和表达
1. —Where are my books
—They’re on the sofa.
考向
问句询问物品的位置，答句指明物品所在的方位。由于被询问的对象books是复数，所以使用“Where are.. ” 若为单数则使用“Where’s/Where is...？”
eg：Where is your dictionary 你的词典在哪里？
Where are your CDs 你的光盘在哪里？
2. I think it’s in your grandparents’ room.
“I think+句子”是一个含有宾语从句的复合句，意思是“我认为... ...”。It’s in your grandparents’ room 是从句。think是谓语动词，句中用来引导宾语从句的连接词that常可省略。
eg：I think (that) she is a good student. 我认为她是一个好学生。

重点语法
(一)where引导的特殊疑问句
where为疑问副词，询问“在什么地方；在哪里；从哪里；向哪里”。由where引导的问句属于特殊疑问句，回答时要具体作答，不能用yes或no直接回答。
1.询问物品所在的位置用where，询问单数物品用“Where is/Where’s... ”，回答用“It is in/on/under...”；询问复数物品用“Where are... ”，回答用“They are in/on/under...”。
eg：—Where are your books —They are in my bag.
2.询问地点、位置、方向用where提问，在回答时应使用表达方位的介词on, in, under, near(在... ...附近)，next to(紧挨着... ...), behind(在... ...后面), in front of(在... ...前面), beside(在... ...旁边)，between...and... (在... ... 和... ...之间)等。
eg：—Where do you live in China —I live in Beijing.
(二)方位介词on, in, under
表示方位的介词in, on, under通常与名词组成介词短语，指明物品所在的具体方位，其结构为：方位介词+限定词+名词（限定词可为冠词、物主代词或名词所有格等）。

1.on“在... ...上”，表示物品与物体表面有直接的接触。
eg：on the sofa在沙发上，on my desk在我的桌上，on the table在桌子上，on the wall在墙上
The cup is on the table.杯子在桌子上。
【拓展】辨析on, above与over
这三个方位介词都含有“在... ...上”的意思，但也有不同之处。
on 表示A物体与B物体表面接触 The desks are on the floor.书桌在地板上。
above 表示A物体位置高于B物体，但不一定在其正上方，也不接触B物体 He lifted his hands above his head. 他将双手举过头顶。
over 表示A物体在B物体的垂直正上方，多暗指悬空 The kite is right over the house. 风筝在房子的上方。
2.in“在... ...内(中)”，强调在某一个范围之内。
eg：in the room在房间里，in the box在盒子里，in her backpack在她的背包里
My pen is in the pencil box. 我的钢笔在铅笔盒里。
【拓展】(1)be in在家，相当于be at home，常用于打电话。
eg：—Hello. This is Mary. Is Lucy in 您好，我是玛丽，露西在家吗？
—Sorry, she’s at school. 对不起，她在学校。
(2)in+颜色/衣物，表示“穿着；戴着”
eg：Do you know the man in black 你认识那个穿黑衣服的男人吗？
3.under“在... ...下”，指某物在另一物品的正下方。
eg：The cat is under the sofa. 猫在沙发的下面。
(三)连词and与but的用法
and连接两个并列成分，也可以连接多个并列成分，但要注意前面的并列成分要用逗号隔开，最后一个并列成分前加and，其结构是：A，B，C and D。and前的并列成分读升调，最后的并列成分读降调。
eg：Apples, bananas and grapes are my favorite fruits. 苹果、香蕉和葡萄是我最喜欢的水果。
and还可以连接两个并列句，其结构是“简单句+and+简单句”。
eg：My mother is a nurse, and my father is a teacher. 我妈妈是一名护士，我爸爸是一名教师。
1.如果两个或两个以上的句子均为肯定句或否定句，用and连接。也就是说，and表示并列、承接或递进关系。
eg：I like bananas and my brother likes apples. 我喜欢香蕉，我弟弟喜欢苹果。
and连接两个并列的词或短语时，连接的成分必须一致。
eg：I like watching TV and reading books. 我喜欢看电视和读书。
2.如果两个或两个以上句子的语意前后表示转折，用but连接，也就是说but表示的是转折关系。
eg：I like vegetables, but I don’t like fruit. 我喜欢(吃)蔬菜，但我不喜欢(吃)水果。
