一、 教材分析
(语篇研读)
1.主题和内容（What）本模块教材为外研版《英语》（新标准）（三年级起点）五年级上册第五模块，功能是谈论数量。第一单元课文情境是通过 Ms Smart 让 Sam帮忙给全班同学分发蜡笔。第二单元的课文情境是通过 John询问Lingling班级人数。
2.传递的意义(Why)学生在语境中学习十几的基础上，通过发现生活中的数字，学会讨论数量，学会分享；在用 There be 句型描述周围事物的数量继续谈论生活中的数量问题，分享快乐。
3.文体特征、语言结构和语言特点（How）两个单元的语篇均为对话类型。本单元主要引领学生进行 20以内数字及 there be 句型的学习，并学会用 there be 句型来描述周围事物的数量。
二、 学情分析
本课教学对象是五年级的学生，他们已经有了一定的语言基础，课堂上能够积极与他人合作交流，也具备了一定的自主学习的能力。在学习本模块之前，学生在三年级上册已学过数字 1-12，在四年级上册学过 There be 句型，但 There be 句型需要稍加复习，这些知识储备能为本课学习 13-19以及整十这些数词奠定基础。教师可适当引导学生通过观察发现构词规律，从而更有效地学习。
三、 教学目标
通过本课的学习，学生能够：
1.学习理解：
1) 通过学习 Ms smart让 Sam 帮忙分发蜡笔的过程中在语境中理解、听、说、认读单词和短语：thirteen-nineteen, begin, crayon, floor，give out, all right等，并能运用词汇 crayon、 begin、floor。
2) 在语境中学习、理解并初步运用核心句型 There are only nineteen crayons.来描述及谈论物品的数量。
2.应用实践：通过录音流利跟读文本内容。同时复述文本内容。并且用上 There be 句型与同桌描述课本 P28 practice 的内容。
3.迁移创新：运用核心语言 There be句型介绍周围事物的数量。四、 教学重难点
1． 重点：掌握数字 thirteen-nineteen，并学会用 There be 句型描述周围事物的数量。
2． 难点：注意 thirteen-nineteen 的读音及 thirteen, fifteen，eighteen的书写。
五、 教学过程
Step 1 Pre-learning
1. Sing a song: Ten Little Fingers.
2. 教师拿出一支蜡笔，问学生：What’s this？引出并教授新单词 crayon。课件出示 10支蜡笔，提问学生：How many crayons can you see 带领学生复习数字 1-10。然后一支一支地出示蜡笔，复习 eleven, twelve, 学习新的数词 thirteen, fourteen, ... nineteen. 并引领学生用 There are ... crayons.表达数量。
3. 带领学生重点认读数字 thirteen ... nineteen.
4. 出示数字 1-10, 11-20，带领学生找规律并口诀记忆。然后通过小游戏“节奏大师”来巩固记忆数词。

课后反思
本课的教学内容是外研版三起五年级上册 Module5 Unit1，本课学习了新的数词 thirteen 到 nineteen. 这些数从 13 到 19 是有规律可循的，还进一步复习了 there be 句型。通过本课的学习学生不仅理解了语义，而且能熟练掌握所学的句型。反思本课的教学，学生能够将所学的语言得以实际应用，提高了学生运用英语的能力。上课伊始，由 Ten Little Fingers 歌曲引入，唤起学生对数字 1 到 10 的回忆，接着由游戏使学生感知数字，再通过 Ms Smart 让 Sam 分发蜡笔的过程呈现将要学习的内容。在此过程中，穿插数数的游戏，巩固从1到20的英语单词的读音。最后由活动 4 的图片进行拓展运用。通过看图写句子，既复习了 there be 句型，又巩固了数字的写法。当然在执教时，也显露出很多不足之处：
1、在做游戏时，学生节奏不十分强烈。
2、对新词 13 到 19 操练的时间不够多。
3、给学生练习读文的时间较短
4.学生在角色扮演前忽略了小组内先进行练习。在本节课中学生虽然练习得很仓促，但歌曲和游戏还是表现出了相当高的兴趣。
