三、Teaching aims
1.Knowledge aims:
1) Ss can listen, read and use the words : fruit, chicken, bear, pig.
2)Ss can use the sentence: “There is/are...”来描述某地有某物/人。
2、Language ability aims:
Ss can use “ There is/are...” to communicate with others in the daily life .
3、Emotional attitude aims:根据学生的实际情况设计有意义的教学活动,采用多种活动和可视、可听的多媒体培养学生学习英语的兴趣,使他们会用“There is/are...”来描述关于某地有某物/人的话题。
4、Learning Strategy aims:能通过所学的知识与实际生活联系进行英语交流。

Step1 Greeting师生互相问好
Step 2 Warm up and lead in
1. Watch the video of activity 1 and chant together.
2. T: Look! Daming is a presenter. He is introducing some animals for us. Let’s have a look.
【设计意图】:学生只有对英语学习有积极的感情,才能保持英语学习的动力。因此,课前热身导入能让学生迅速地集中注意力,充分调动学生的情绪,使学生经过热身进入一个学习语言的环境,初步了解与本节课相关的内容,激活旧知,使学生更快融入本课的学习之中。Step 3 Listening 1. Listen and number
【设计意图】:让学生听课文音频并对图片进行排序,让学生大体感知文本信息,了解本节课的主题。
2. Listen again and fill in the blanks

【设计意图】:让学生跟读、自读、小组内认读对话等多种方式认读文本,模仿重音、语音语调、节奏、停顿和连读,做到语调自然流畅。
Step5 Practice
1. Finish the mind map. (完成思维导图)
2. Retell the dialogue in group.(小组内复述对话)
【设计意图】:
运用思维导图引导学生根据文本内容提取、归纳、梳理主要信息。复述对话环节借助思维导图向他人介绍或描述对话内容。
3.Work in pairs
Use the sentences “There is/are...It’s/They’re...” to describe the pictures in pairs
【设计意图】:在操练中巩固本课重点句型,让学生在实际运用中检验新知识掌握的程度,能够学以致用。
Step6 Creation
Look! This is Betty. She is going to go to the park. Let’s follow her and see what’s inside. (跟随 Betty 一起去逛公园,用所学的新句型 “ There is/are...He’s/She’s/They’re...”来描述一下公园里的场景)
【设计意图】:运用和大家生活实际相联系的公园为背景练习本课的重点句型“There is/are...It’s/They’re...”,引导学生能在感知体验和整合等语言实践活动中,主动参与,并在合作中完成学习任务。
Step7 Summary
1. There are so many colourful and interesting things in our life. We should learn to find out and share with others.
2. 总结每个组得到的贴画的数量,看哪个组是 winner group并进行奖励。
Step8 Homework
1. Use the mind map to describe the text.
2. Use “There is/are...”to describe your school or your bedroom.
【设计意图】:通过运用思维导图再复述课文,加深学生对新知识的理解和应运,进一步巩固文本信息。通过让学生“There is/are...”描述自己的学校或卧室,把所学知识与自己的实际生活相联系,学以致用,激发学生学习的积极性,提高学生实际运用英语的能力。
