一、文本解读
What:本课语篇为Tony 和Betty的日常小对话,内容围绕着他们的功课安排展开,同时表达了他们对不同功课的喜好及原因。
Why:通过Tony 和Betty谈论功课安排,引导学生喜欢自已的所有学习科目,即使是比较困难的学科,引发学生热爱学习的热忱。Betty和Tony都在中国读书,他们表达了对中国的文化历史和汉语言的喜爱,增强学生的民族自豪感。
How:该对话为比较常见的学生日常生活交流,涉及学习科目的名称,如science, Chinese, IT,PE, geography, art, history, maths等;交流询问和回答功课的核心语言,如 “What are our lessons on Monday What lessons do we have on Friday We have ...at .... Do we have maths No, we don’t. My favourite subject is Chinese.”等。该对话情节简单,易于理解,具有较强生活气息。
二、学习目标
通过本课时的学习,学生能够:
1.在教师的帮助下,学习并总结时间的两种表达式:顺读和逆读。(学习理解)
2.获取Tony和Betty在对话中谈论的时间和学科内容,完成信息收集图表。(学习理解)
3.基于功课表,和同伴设计一个关于自己的日常学习的对话,能恰当表达自己喜欢的学科用原因。(应用实践)
4.通过小组讨论,用所学的语言表达自己理想的课程表,并向全班同学汇报。(迁移创新)

学习过程 设计意图
Step1 Warming up Students guess what it is according to the riddle. ——Clock. Step2 Presentation (指向学习目标1) Ss learn the expressions of time with the conversation: --What time is it --It’s ... Ss make a conclusion about when to use “o’clock”. Ss learn the new ways to express time: past/to; Then make a summary about when to use “past/to”. Ss learn “half” in talking about time and tell when to use “half”. Make a summary Step3 Listen and repeat (指向学习目标1) First, ss talk about the time in the clock using the question: What time is it Second, ss read after the tape to imitate. Step4 Our schedule (指向学习目标1) In the activity, ss will combine the time and subjects. ss tell the time in a quick way to review what learned just now. 2. ss tell what subjects they have on a school day, like Monday, with the help of the pictures and the teacher. ss learn to know what am and pm mean. ss make a short conversation with partners like, When is your English lesson on Monday It’s at 9:40 am. (twenty to ten) Step5 Listening (指向学习目标2) Ss listen to the long conversation and tell : What they are talking about. Then listen and fill the chart about the schedules on Monday and Friday. After that, ss make a conversation with partners after checking the answers. Ss can listen one more special time if needed. Step6 Read for details (指向学习目标2) First, ss read the passage and find out the truth of the sentences: 1. Lessons begin at eight. 2. They have four lessons in the morning. 3. Maths is difficult for Betty. 4. They have art on Monday. 5. History is interesting for Betty. 6. Tony’s favourite lesson is art. Second, ss check the true sentences and correct the false ones. Step7 Practice (指向学习目标3) Talk about the subjects you like and when you have them. Ss look at their own timetable, make a new conversation, like: A: What lessons do you like B: I like … A: What time is the ... lesson B: We have ... at … on (Monday). A: What about ... B: We have ... at … on (Friday). What about you A: … Show time Step8 检测与评价My ideal schedule (指向学习目标4) Ss fill in a one-day schedule and share with their partners. Then make a report as following: Today is... I have...lessons. In the morning, I have... at..., I have ...at... In the afternoon... It’s really a _____ day for me. 用猜谜的方式导入本课课题——和时间相关,激发学生学习兴趣。 学生通过对话的方式来学习关于时间的三种表达式,在句式运用的过程中同时有效掌握本课时的重要学习目标——时间的逆读法。 学生通过听小对话的方式,为下面的长听力做好听的准备。 科目名称是学生比较熟悉的小学知识项目,大部分学生能够在很短的时间内进行和课文文本中类似内容。 听取关键词,听后根据图表编制新的对话内容。 为了更好地了解对话文本内容,学生通过查找细节文本,及订正错误表达,查找到相关证明信息。 学生对自己的功课表在英语课上的使用是很有兴致的,能激发他们讨论的积极性。 以讨论理想的一天及理由为活动要求,极大程度上激发了学生运用语言的积极性。 通过活动My ideal school day,检测评价了学生本堂课的教学效果。
