As for its advantages, first, the payment can be completed quickly, thus avoiding long time waiting in line. Second, customers don’t have to carry a bank card, which makes payment more convenient. When it comes to its disadvantages, the most worrying thing is that face recognition hasn’t reached 100% accuracy, which might lead to payment risks. In addition, customers’ personal information may be revealed illegally.
Imperfect as it is, I believe with the improvement of face recognition technology, face scanning payment will become more and more popular.
