1、播放the birthday chant
2、引出课题：when is Toby‘s birthday？
Step 2 Presentation
1、pupils review the month words again and again
2、When is your birthday？鼓励学生用相应的月份回应老师的问题
3、listen to tape recorder and circle the children’s birthday months.
4、listen again and ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )repeat and present the sentence structures on the board.
Eg: When is Zhaowei’s birthday
When is Thomas’ birthday
When is Karen’s birthday
When is David’s birthday
Karen’s birthday is in March.
