学情 分析 六年级学生一般年龄在11-12岁，在小学教育的高年段，思维发展处于具体运算阶段向形式运算阶段的过渡。经过三年的英语学习，他们有一定的英语基础，他们也有比较丰富的日常生活经验，他们有一定的词汇量和语言表达能力，能阅读难度适中的与其水平相当的绘本故事。
单元 教学 目标 1.能识别常见公共场所以及公共场所的标识； 2.能在视频或图片等的帮助下，谈论公共场所的具体位置； 3.能说出到达这些公共场所的路线； 4能.听懂、理解公共场所位置及问路主题的对话或语篇； 5.能就语篇对语言的合理性做出判断并正确提取信息； 6.能辨认马路上常见的交通标志并遵守规则。
整体 设计 思路 本单元围绕“ask and direct the way”这个单元主题，设计出一系列整体性、螺旋递进性的作业，体现单元整体作业。首先，第一课时的任务是在情景中了解公共场所方位与公共场所标识；第二课时的任务是通过Alex想去海珠公园，Amy带他去却迷路了的情景，运用问路句型，并能理解别人的指路；紧接着，通过Amy 与Alex 想去找饭馆吃饭，在情景中综合运用问路与指路核心句型，并学会寻找多种途径去目的地；接着，通过警察在街上抓小偷问路人小偷的去向以及Amy和Alex 帮助老人的情景以及给外卖员指路的情景，以及如何找最近目的地路径，综合运用语言，渗透乐于助人的品质；最后，通过绘本故事The surprise present ，了解交通规则，并在情景中综合运用语言，以及渗透交通安全知识。 单元作业设计以学生的语言能力、思维品质、学习能力、文化品格等英语学科核心素养为理论支撑，通过层层推进作业任务，逐步发展学生学；有机融合生活情境，提升学生语用能力；灵活利用多种途径，锤炼学生思维品质；合理补充课程资源，培育学生文化意识；切实改变传统作业的形式，让学生独立思考、自主探究、合作学习、实践体验。每个课时的作业设计具有关联性和递进性，形式新颖，量少而精，切实减轻学生负担，提升学习效果。
