Group work
Bill Cunningham, an ordinary-looking man, is one of the most important American photographers of the last 50 years. Cunningham liked to photograph ordinary people as much as VIPs, through which he opened the door of fashion to everyone. It was his devotion to photography and hard work that made his photos so special.
As he was a World-famous fashion photographer, he lived a simple life. Valuing his integrity, he never accepted the benefits offered to him. For him, money is the cheapest thing but freedom is the most expensive. It is this lack of self-interest and promotion that kept Cunningham focused on his craft, which made him extraordinary. Cunningham’s passion for photography lasted throughout his life. He was more a “cultural anthropologist” than a fashion photographer.
