(2) clothes作名词，意为“衣服；服装”，统指身上穿的各种服装，包括上衣、裤子、内衣等。不能直接与数词连用，但可以用these, those, some等词来修饰，“一套衣服”用a suit of clothes表达。

(2) sale是动词sell的名词形式，意为“特价销售；出售”，
on sale 折价销售; 减价出售；for sale 待售
at a/one's great sale相当于on sale，其中at表示“以……（价格）”。
e.g. The trousers at the store are on sale. 这家商店的裤子在促销。
You can get a nice dress at our great sale.
你可以在我们大甩卖时买到一条漂亮的连衣裙。
3. We sell all our clothes at very good prices.
我们卖的所有服装价格都很合理。

(3) price作名词，意为“价格”，at very good prices意为“以合理的价格”。常用短语：at ... prices或者at a ... price，表示某物“在……价位上”。
e.g. The store sells things at a good price.
这家商店卖的物品价格合理。
表示价格高低用high（高的） 和 low（低的）；
表示物品贵或便宜用expensive（昂贵的）和 cheap（便宜的）。

①对物品的价格提问常用句型“What’s the price of ... ”，但须注意无论被询问的商品是单数还是复数，be动词都用is，不用are。其答语为“It’s+价格.”。
e.g. —What’s the price of this pen —It’s 6 yuan.
—What’s the price of these pens —It’s 60 yuan.
②“What’s the price of ... ”可与“How much ... ”相互转换。
e.g. What’s the price of this skirt =How much is this skirt 这条裙子多少钱？
4. For girls, we have skirts in purple for only $20.

(1) for girls中的for是“对于……而言”；for only＄20中的for是“以……金额”的意思。
(2) skirts in purple意为“紫色裙子”，相当于purple skirts。其中in为介词，后接表示颜色的词，表示“……颜色”，还可表示“穿着……颜色的……”；in后还可接表示衣服等的名词，表示“穿/戴着……”。
