新风向 关注科技发展 Visiting museums can be both interesting and tiring. You may spend hours getting there, waiting in a long line for a ticket and walking with big crowds in the museum. But new technologies are changing museums, and the way people visit them, all over the world.
Thanks to Street View technology, you may"walk through" museums while staying at home and enjoying an icy milk shake. You can see how paintings are hung and exhibits(陈列品) are placed as you move virtually(虚拟地) through the museums. You can also read the introductions of the works and download(下载) clear pictures of them. So far 560 museums around the world have joined the project, including the British Museum in London and the Metropolitan Museum of Art(大都会艺术博物馆) in New York City.
Some apps may also make your museum trips more fun. The Palace Museum designed a few apps. One is called Han Xizai's Night Feast, which is based on an ancient ▲ . Users can see a big picture of Han's house and take a closer look at the people and the clothes within it by touching the screen. The Museum of Modern Art in New York City also made an app that allows users to draw their own modern art works.
However, if you still want to visit museums in person, you probably won't be disappointed. Many museums are trying to allow visitors to interact with the exhibits using 3-D technology. For example, an exhibition in Shenzhen shows a 3-D copy of ancient Chinese bronze chimes(青铜编钟). Visitors can "play" the chimes by simply touching them.
With new technologies like these, visiting museums has become easier and more fun. So why not try it yourself

C(2022·北京海淀区期末)
Education doesn't only take place in the classroom—it can happen anywhere. Museums are one of the places students visit for a good reason. With their real artifacts(工艺品) and exhibitions, museums provide a nice environment to enrich students' learning in different kinds of fields.
According to the International Council of Museums, there were about 55,000 museums worldwide in 2017. Many of them are free, so schools needn't worry about the costs.
An important role of museums in education is the experience they provide. It was said that there were three most-visited exhibitions in New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art — "Treasures of Tutankhamen" "Mona Lisa" and "The Vatican Collections". What all these exhibitions have in common is their historical importance and the one-of-a-kind experience that the visitors have. To read or hear about the artifacts is not the same as seeing them in person, which can be a life-changing experience. "Mona Lisa" is the work of art with great value. Standing face-to-face with such a famous work with one's own eyes can bring students a new understanding of the work, an experience that they can't get anywhere else.
In the classroom, teachers can teach students through talks, videos, or readings. Museum trips can not only excite students, but also serve as a supplement(补充) for things discussed in class. In museums, students can connect what they see with their class experiences. Therefore, students can have a complete understanding of the thing more easily.
As museums have much to do with history or artifacts of the past, it has been a difficult task for them to keep up with the technologies of today. The competitor of a museum is short videos or computer games, instead of other museums. Museums have chosen to bring technologies into exhibitions. For example, Wi-Fi allows the guests to get the museum app, which serves to better the exhibits. Although technology is getting a stronger hold on the world, there is still the want for a real museum experience in education, especially with our students.
( )35.What can we learn from the passage
A. Students can learn many things in museums.
B. Museum trips will cost schools a lot of money.
C. Museum trips are usually boring for the students.
D. Students mainly learn through reading in museums.
( )36.The writer writes "Mona Lisa" in Paragraph 3 to show that .
A.it's a world-famous art work of great value
B.it's a special experience to see artifacts in person
C.museums help teachers teach better outside school
D.museums provide students with a chance to learn history
( )37.Which of the following would be the best title for the passage
A.How can museums help teachers
B.Why do museums need technologies
C.How should students learn in museums
D.Why do students still need to visit museums

The best museum I've ever been to is the Science and Technology Museum. It is a four-story building in the shape of a Lu Ban lock, which shows that science is able to unlock and discover many secrets.
There are five different areas in the museum. Each of them is about a certain area of science. The most exciting area for me is on the 4th floor. There, I can make a model rocket myself — I believe that is the special charm of the Science and Technology Museum. It provides visitors with interesting exhibitions and gives them hands-on experiences. I'm sure it's the best science museum in China.
