教学内容： Unit 3 Our animal friends Story time
教材分析 本节课的教学内容是译林版五年级上册第三单元的故事板块，主题是动物朋友。文中四个学生以谜语的方式描述自己的动物朋友，谜面中包含了动物的颜色、身体特征和能力。
学情分析 在三年级下册，学生学习过了颜色：red, orange, yellow, green, blue, white, black, brown, 还在积累了pink, purple, grey等。在四年级上学期第八单元中学习了五官的表达：eye, ear, nose, mouth, hair, tail以及相应的特征形容词：big, small, long, short。但是学生在正确朗读区分这些单词时存在一定的困难。四年级下册时学生初步认识了has, 但是不能完全理解什么时候用。本课中学生要继续学习一些身体部位的表达：arm, leg, wing等。
教学目标 学生能够理解课文的意思。 学生会正确朗读课文，读准单词字音：arm, leg, wing, the other, or。 通过学习和阅读，学生能够梳理出动物朋友谜面的结构。 学生能够用英语大致复述文中动物朋友。 在阅读之后，学生能够编一编自己动物朋友的谜面。 在阅读之后，学生能够切实地感受到爱护动物的重要性。
教学重点 1 学生会正确朗读课文，读准单词字音：arm, leg, wing, the other, or。 通过学习和阅读，学生能够梳理出动物朋友谜面的结构。
教学难点 学生能够用英语大致复述文中动物朋友。 在阅读之后，学生能够编一编自己动物朋友的谜面。
