一、教学内容:Story time;绘本I’m the best
二、教学目标:
1. 能在课文情景中准确理解story time故事内容。
2. 能听懂、会说、会读日常交际用语及句型I can play basketball . Can you / he/ she/×××play basketball 及回答Yes, I/he/she can. No, I/he/she can’t.并能初步运用。能主动表达Nice!Cool!Great! Very well! Have a try!夸赞他人或鼓励他人。
3. 能借助图片、实物等创设情景,用较好的语音语调朗读对话,并尝试表演。
4. 通过绘本I’m the best的阅读,丰富学生语言知识:I’m the best. I’ll try again. One more try. You’re good at trying.并训练学生阅读绘本的技巧。
5. 通过两则故事的学习,引导学生树立正确的人生观:Never give up. Believe in yourselves. Always have a try.
二、教学重点:
能正确理解story time故事内容;并会正确、流利地朗读文本;在教师的引导和帮助下表演故事。
三、教学难点:
1.能正确运用升调表达Can … 并作出正确应答。
2.绘本I’m the best.的正确理解和表演。
四、教学准备:PPT,小篮球,小篮球框,板书,绘本
五、教学过程:
Step 1. Pre-reading
1. Enjoy the song: I can skate and I can jump
2. Greetings.
3. Play a game: follow me
Walk, walk, I can walk. (run, jump, skate, swim, basketball)
4. Learn: basketball
T: (实物)Look, I have a basketball. (drill basketball, play basketball)
5. Learn: I can play basketball. Can …play basketball Yes, … can. No, … can’t.
(1) T: I can play basketball. Look! (师投篮演示) Can you play basketball
S: Yes, I can.
T: e and show us.
S: Wow! Cool/ Nice/ Great/ Wonderful!
(2) T: Hi, … Can you play basketball
S: No, I can’t.
T: It’s OK. Have a try!
(3) Work in pairs.
(4) Check
T: Can … play basketball
S: Yes, he/she can.
No, he/she can’t.
Step 2. Story time
过渡:Yesterday I did a survey, 25 of you can play basketball. 26 of you can’t play basketball. Right How about our friends Who are they Can they play basketball
2. Look and guess
S: Can Wang Bing / Mike/ Liu Tao play basketball
Ss: Yes, he can,/ No, he can’t.
3. Watch and check
在校对的过程中Learn: Mike can play basketball very well.
在校对的过程中Learn: Liu Tao doesn’t think he can play basketball at first, but after he had a try, he can play basketball. He is just not confident.
4. Think and talk: What do you learn from Liu Tao
Learn: be confident and always have a try.

3. Group reading
(1) Read the picture book in groups of 4 and try to understand the story.
(2) Learn the new words
T: There are some new words and sentences. How do you learn the new words or sentences
S: 查字典,问老师/家长/哥哥姐姐,看绘本图片猜测…
T: Can you teach us
T: Some times the new words are not important, we can just ignore them.
