教材分析
本课时是人教版四年级下册Unit2 What time is it的A Let’s talk。本部分学习的核心句型是:What time is it It’s ... o’clock. It’s time for dinner.教材通过John和吴斌斌放学后留在操场打篮球,到了晚饭时间,保安让他们回家的情境对话,让学生感知上诉句型的语义及语用情景。
学情分析
本节课所教对象是小学四年级的学生,他们具有强烈的求知欲和好奇心。在过去英语学习中,他们具有一定的听说认读能力和简单的日常口语交际,能够根据情景组织简单的对话表演。
教学目标
学生能够在图片,教师提问和录音的帮助下理解对话内容。
能够在情景中运用句型What time is it It’s ... o’clock. It’s time for... .询问时间并回答。
依托skeleton教学法,通过分析、推理、猜测等方法,学生能提高思维能力。
通过分析John’s timetable,培养学生正确的时间观念。

教学过程
Step 1 Review & Lead-in
1. Game time. (Review)
教师呈现若干个数字,学生复习并且说出数字,进而引出clock。
Look and say. 教师呈现若干个John的图片和钟,通过提问“What time is it What does John do ”引导学生观察钟,回答It’s...o’clock. It’s time for... .
【设计意图】通过数字复习活动和钟导入本课主题,激活学生数字单词,并让学生初步感知句型What time is it It’s time for ..., 为后面学习句型回答应用做铺垫。
Step 2 Presentation
View and say.
(1)展示课本John和Wu Binbin放学后的图,学生观察钟, 教师通过提问“What time is it School is over, where do they go ”,引导学生观察图片,通过篮球猜出他们要去playground。
(2)展示课本John和Wu Binbin的全图,学生观察图片,教师通过提问“Who’s that man What does the man say to them ”,引导学生通过男人衣服推测出是保安、通过学校显示的时间推测男人说“Time to go home, kids.”
2. Read and choose
学生根据提供的文字和课文插图,进行图文匹配。教师引导学生说出选择的理由。

学生小组讨论,根据上下文,选择正确选项。
4.Listen and check
教师播放录音,学生检测预测内容。
【设计意图】教师呈现对话插图,设置预测任务,激发学生的学习兴趣,培养学生的读图和预测能力。利用骨架文本,引导学生关注图片信息,从而帮助学生理解核心语言的语境和意义,发展其逻辑分析思维能力。

Make a dialogue
(1)教师继续设立情境“John回到了家和妈妈的对话”,学生根据情境及图片提示,编对话。(此环节教师与一名学生进行示范对话)
(2)教师另外提供两个情境,分别是John八点和妈妈的对话情境、十点睡觉前的对话情境。学生两人一组选择任意一个对话情境进行操练。
【设计意图】教师设置情境,提供骨架和word bank,学生运用核心语言进行对话,巩固和强化核心语言。

教师呈现John的timetable, 通过提问“Is it good ”,引导学生观察John吃晚餐、写作业和睡觉的时间,渗透情感教育,引导学生要有时间观念,早吃饭早学习早睡觉。

教师呈现timetable表格,鼓励学生写下自己的timetable,并且在小组内分享。
【设计意图】在学生已经理解并内化核心语言的基础上,引导学生进行运用句型分享自己的时间表,培养学生综合运用语言的能力。
