一、模块主题 本模块的话题是生日,是学生比较感兴趣的话题。生日对每一个人来说都十分重要,过生日不单是一种个人行为,也是反应一定的文化特点。
二、模块内容分析 U1是邀请朋友参加自己的生日聚会,内容涉及中国孩子和外国孩子怎样过生日,能让学生认识外国的生日文化,比较中西文化的不同,并借此培养和提高学生的跨文化社交意识。 U2是精选生日礼品,课文介绍了不同人的不同爱好,教师能够在教学中概括总结怎样表达爱好,并设计为同学组织一次生日聚会帮助同学运用这些表达方式。 U3是复习单元,对学生在前两个单元中已中沃的知识技能进行总结与综合性的练习。
三、学情分析 这单元你的教学对象是初一的学生,他们学习英语的热情和积极性较高,思维活跃,爱表现,爱活动,经过大部分学期的学习,他们能在教师的指导下,主动参与活动,合作探究,有相当一部分学生能用英语表达自己的意向。
四、模块教学目标 通过本单元的学习,学生能够: 目标a:能用“Would you like to… ”。发出邀请 目标b:能掌握频度副词的使用;能正确运用动词第三人称的单数形式及掌握形容词性物主代词的用法。 目标c:card, party, present, would,always, great, cake, never, cut, give, sing, happy, choose, wear, shoe, spend,money, film, song, usually, sometimes, often, ect. 目标d: 能读懂关于生日庆祝的短文和识别人们的爱好。能描述家人或朋友的喜欢特点并为其挑选生日礼物。

三、教材分析: What---语篇主题和主要内容 本单元的语法重点是频度副词和行为动词第三人称单数形式的正确使用。频度副词的使用与本单元的主题密切相关,应该作为教学重点目标之一。本单元有大量的复现和练习的机会。 Why---语篇传递的主题意义
话题是邀请朋友参加自己的生日聚会,本单元的内容涉及中国孩子和外国孩子如何过生日,学生通过学习本课内容可以了解国外的生日文化,培养和提高跨文化交际意识。 How---文体结构、语言特点及功能 本单元的语法重点是学生能正确运用动词的第三人称单数形式以及频度副词的使用。这些带有带有频度副词的句子的学习,实现培养学生自主学习和巩固学习的发展和培养。
四、 教学目标: 学习能力目标: 掌握礼物的相关单词,短语和句型等。 掌握一般现在时的频度副词。 能描述家人或朋友的喜好。 能够读懂并识别人们的爱好。 思维品质目标: 通过培养该短文情景,创设情景,模拟情景,培养乐于助人的品格。 文化意识目标: 了解不同国家的人们赠送生日礼物时不同的风俗习惯。
教学重难点 重点/难点: 本课时的教学重点是频度副词的用法。
六、教学过程
教学目标学习活动效果评价设计意图复习频度副词的用法。(学习理解)Step 1 Warming up Enjoy a song and free talk: what do you usually do on your birthday 从视频开头和free talk 导入课文讨论,完全符合学生的水平。结合频率副词的练习,让学生看句子更多地了解英美生日习俗。巩固所学的重点词汇和句型。(应用实践)Step 2 Presentation 1.Language practice Read though the example sentences in the box with the whole class. Ask students to repeat the sentences in the box. Grammar: Adverb of frequency. 2.Work in pairs. Ask one or two students the question: Does Grandpa always watch TV Yes, he does.Ask and answer questions about Grandpa. Carry on with other students until everyone understands the aim of the activity. Complete the table in Activity 1 yourself. Have the students read the sentences in Activity 3. 3.Rewrite the sentences with the words in bracket. 4.Complete the sentences with would you like or let’s. 5.Read the emails and check the true sentences. 6.Around the world: birthday presents. 7. Language points:频度副词
本模块出现了大量的表示不确定时间的副词:always(总是),often(经常), usually(通常),sometimes(有时),seldom(很少),never(从不)等,这些副词表频度,表示经常性或习惯性的行为。在句中位置:在be动词,情态动词或助动词之后,行为动词之前。
