That meeting changed me.On my way back to school. I thought a lot, determined to do something to help David. The next day after school, I called David to come over to my office, where I had a heart- to- heart talk with him. Then I invited him to my flat. On entering it, I ordered him to take a shower in the bathroom. Meanwhile, I selected some old but clean clothes of my son’s and asked David to get changed after he finished taking the shower. Immediately, David took on a completely different appearance. During the whole period, though, David remained silent. I could see that his eyes were red with tears.

From that moment on, David was a different child. He became well behaved, whether on campus, on the bus or in the lunchroom. He never said rude words to his classmates. More importantly, he became interested in his studies, listening attentively and even volunteering to answer questions in class. Gradually, other students and teachers changed their attitude towards him. Seeing all the changes, I also felt a sense of achievement and greatly relieved. Yes, David's father was right----His son is a superstar.
