Topic Unit 6 When was it invented Period II Section A(3a~3c)
Analysis of the Teaching Material 本课是新目标英语九年级第6单元的第二课时。继续围绕“发明”的话题进行读写活动,对学生进行读写技能训练。3a-3c为阅读版块。让学生在活动中理解语言知识,掌握重点词汇表达式和结构,在练习中逐渐运用这些知识。阅读语篇讲述了神农氏如何在无意中发明茶以及茶叶的发展和传播的故事。3a活动训练学生的快速阅读技能,需要学生在快速阅读之后为各段匹配段落大意。3b需要学生细读文章来回答与茶叶有关的细节问题。3c则是一个综合了词汇和语言结构的读后巩固性活动。
Analysis of the Students
通过第一课时的学习,学生们了解了被动语态的结构,基本达成语言目标。但在表达过程中对过去分词与过去式形式容易混淆,在本节课通过阅读帮助学生进一步感知被动语态的构成,在此基础上复习该结构,并引出茶叶起源这个话题。很多学生对于该话题较为熟悉,这是学习本课时的优势。但对这个话题的理解往往停留在表面上,本节课在进一步拓展语言知识,发展语言技能的同时,可以着重向学生进行情感目标渗透。通过阅读有关茶文化的故事,帮助学生正确使用被动语态进行表达。

Step 5Language Points Explanation 1.by accident 偶然;意外地2.It is said that ... 据说……it是形式主语,真正主语是that引导的从句。类似句型: It is believed that ... 人们认为……/ 据信……It’s reported that ... 据报道……It is estimated that… 人们估算……;据推算……It is well-known that… 众所周知……;大家知道……3.ruler n. 统治者;支配者rule (v. 统治) + (e)r → ruler 统治者4.invent 发明;创造。指创造出世界上原本不存在的事物。find 找到发现。强调寻找后的结果,也可表示无意的发现。discover 发现。指发现本来就存在但尚未被人所知的事物。5.leaves — leaf 树叶的复数以-f/-fe结尾的名词变为复数一般把-f或-fe变成-v再加-esknife- knives leaf - leaves wife - wives life - lives shelf - shelves thief - thieves wolf - wolves half - halves 6.some times some一些, time次数, some times几次。some time some一些, time时间, some time 一段时间。sometimes adv. 有时; 不时; 间或。多用于一般现在时句中。sometime adv. 在某一时候。表示的时间不确定。7.smell n. 气味;嗅觉 v. 发出……气味;闻到Linking Verb 闻起来 (常与形容词连用)类似系动词:look (看起来);sound (听起来);taste (尝起来);touch (摸起来)等。8.until用于否定句中:not ... until ...直到……才……, 动词多为短暂性动词。 until也可以用于肯定句中:直到……为止, 动词多为延续性动词。 将知识点做好笔记 将本课重点汇总系统的进行讲解和分析,结合典例,帮助学生形成语言体系。

Teaching Reflection: 亮点
1.首先通过图片介绍背景知识,呈现词汇,然后通过设问引导学生通过快速阅读、细读文章回答与茶叶有关的细节问题,逐渐获取语篇信息。2.并能口笔头进行表达完成词汇和语言结构的巩固性练习。
有待改进 1.语法聚焦方面,在被动语态的教学上虽然事前考虑到学生理解被动语态的难度,给学生提供了例句供学生观察,并设计了情景帮助学生理解记忆,但是由于学生在不熟悉句子基本结构的情况下,搞不清楚句子成分,导致很多同学无法正确使用被动语态。2.另外让学生做观察总结练习时,未能给学生充分的时间思考,强行往下进展,影响了教学效果。
