一、教学内容

二、学习目标
(一)知识目标:

(二)能力目标:能够听懂别人对过去进行时的表述;能够对过去进行的事情从口语和书面上进行表达。

3.在小组活动中,提高学生与他人交流和合作的技能,提高团队意识。
三、学习重点和难点
重点:过去进行时,when和while引导的时间状语从句。
难点:能运用过去进行时就意外事故这一话题进行讨论。
四、设计理念
以话题为核心,调动学生积极性,并穿插进行口语及听力练习,锻炼学生的听说能力。
对话教学采取先提出问题,带着问题听、理解的 ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )形式,注意了整体教学,整体理解;然后采取小组内对话的形式练习、巩固。词汇和短语在语境中自然接触,很容易让学生领会。教学活动由易到难,设计任务型学习活动,在真实任务中引导学生主动思考,培养学生的创造性思维能力和交际能力。在日常教学中做到理论联系实际,学以致用,体会真实环境下的语言运用。
五、教学过程:
Step 1 Warm---up
Listen and read new words, then spell the new words with fingers.
设计意图: 学生早读时已预习过本单元单词,可利用几分钟时间带学生快速回顾温习。对单词的熟练度越高,学习的准确率也越高。
Step 2 Speaking

设计意图:复习了过去进行时态。为本课继续学习过去进行时态做铺垫。
Step3 Listening
1. Listen to Activity 2 and read
1)The driver was/was not going fast.

3)The driver was/was not talking on his mobile phone.
2. Listen to activity 3 and answer the following question:
Did the red car hit the boy
设计意图:为了降低学习难度设计了“读前听”。
3. Listen again.
4. Read the dialogue, answer the questions.
1)What was the driver doing while he was driving
2)Did the car stop in time
设计意图:为了照顾到大多数学生设计了“读听后”。
5. Speaking
When you are riding a bike, think about the risk of an accident!

Step 5 Language points
1. I was waiting to cross the road.我正等着上钢琴课。
Wait for sb/sth等候某人、某事
Wait for sb to do sth等候某人做某事
Can’t wait to do sth迫不及待地做某事
Who are you waiting for 你在等谁?
They can’t wait to open the present.你们迫不及待地要打开礼物。
2、The car stopped just ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com ) in time,but the boy fell off his bike and hurt his knee.那辆小汽车刚好及时停下,但是男孩从他的自行车上摔了下来并伤了膝盖。
1)in time 意为“及时”。I hope you can return in time.
On time意为“准时,按时”。相当于at the right time.
The train came in on time.火车准时进站了。
2)fall off 意为“跌落,下降”,fell 是fall 的过去式。
He fell off the bike. 他从自行车上跌落下来。
3)Pay attention “注意,留心”
4)Don’t ride side by side with your friends.
