Analysis of the Teaching Material 本节课为听说课,主要介绍了现代生活中的一项美食发明—一薯片。La-le是一个完整的任务链,la-1b要求学生观看几种常见的食物图片并能用形容词描述它们的口感,然后根据形容词列举相应食物。1c-1d是对听力所输入的信息进行多层次的处理。听的活动要求学生能运用反义词、信息综合判断等,训练学生捕捉信息、处理信息的能力。最后进行的活动要求学生根据听力信息,模仿谈论薯片的发明,内化听力信息。
Analysis of the Students 本单元已经学习了两节课,对于过去式被动语态的构成有了一定的掌握,大部分学生能够用被动语态进行表达,为本节课的听说活动提供了基础。同时美食的发明故事又是贴近学生生活的话题,能够激发学生的学习兴趣。
Analysis of Teaching Objectives Language ability 1.完成听说活动,了解美食的发明史。能够在谈论美食发明的情境中正确运用新单词crispy, salty, sour,by mistake, customer和被动语态的有一 般过去式结构。并利用所学知识复述制作薯片的步骤。
Learningability 在美食的主题下保持学英语的兴趣;学习听力策略快速完成听力;通过小组合作,演讲报告达到锻炼英语口语的能力
Thinking quality 通过听力活动练习,能精准提取关键信息,锻炼思维的逻辑性。
Cultural awareness 了解薯片的发明历史,意识到小发明也能创造大大的价值。创新意识。同时养成健康饮食的好习惯。

Step 1Lead-in 1.Show some pictures about food. Let students choose their favorite food. 用英语说出自己最喜欢的食物。 展示美食图片,激发学生学习兴趣,活跃氛围,引入主题。
Step2Pre-listening 1.Show some pictures of food and ask how they taste.2.Let students play the words game3.let students finish1a and 1b and check the answers; 用表示味道的形容词积极回答问题,通过游戏快速说出单词的汉语意思;完成1a和1b。 拓展词汇量,增加学习的广度。学习新词汇为听力做铺垫。活跃氛围,巩固所学知识,为听力1c做准备。

Step 5Language Points Explanation 1.by mistake 意为以外的,They sent the letter to me by mistake.mistake 作名词 “错误,误会”。也可以作动词 “弄错,犯错”。常用短语有:make a mistake 出错You have made a mistake here.mistake…for… 错把……当作……They mistook him for his brother.2. salty咸的salty adj. 咸的 是由名词“盐,食盐”加-y构成的形容词。The boy didn’t have much for dinner because the dishes were too salty.这个男孩晚餐吃得不多,因为菜太咸了。3.“名词+-y”构成形容词:在英语中,很多名词后加-y可以构成形容词,如: cloud—cloudy wind—windy rain—rainy sleep—sleepy sun—sunny 将知识点做好笔记。 将本课重点语法进行讲解和分析,帮助学生形成语言体系。

Teaching Reflection: 亮点
1.本节课听前活动完成较好,尤其在头脑风暴活动中说出很多超出老师预设的词汇,充分调动了学生的积极性,激活了学生记忆与食物有关的词汇,为后面的活动做好了铺垫。2.听后Free talk环节学生非常踊跃。
有待改进 1.在语言输出方面使用被动语态的意识不够,使用时的准确度不高。2教师应在活动前为学生提供一些语言结构方面的练习,引导学生在活动中使用,可能效果会更好。
