What do you think is the most serious environmental problem we face today What should be done to help solve it
Severe environmental problems we are facing nowadays make our future uncertain. It’s time for everyone to take action now and make our planet a greener and safer place for our future generations.
Sadly, human activity is the main reason why the number of monarch butterflies is falling.
In many of the places where the butterfly can be found, people are destroying the natural environment.
They cut down trees and use chemicals that kill the plants that monarch caterpillars eat.

Hunting animals illegally does harm to /causes damage to(对……造成损害) the balance of nature.
We should take measures to protect wild animals from being killed. (采取措施保护野生动物被猎杀).
An activity will be held to raise people's awareness of animal protection. (提高人们保护动物的意识)

Good afternoon, everyone!
What is known to all is that all the animals play a part in keeping the balance of nature. Unfortunately,many wild animals are facing the danger of extinction(灭绝的危险). The reasons are various. On one hand, the environment that they are living in has been greatly destroyed (破坏). On the other hand, they are being over hunted(过度猎杀).
So we must take measures to protect/preserve them (采取措施去保护他们). We should raise our awareness of animal protection (提升动物保护的意识). Besides,let's make every effort to protect animals' living environment. I hope we can live in harmony with animals. Let's take action.
假如你是李华，请给21st Century 报社写一份倡议书，倡议大家关注野生动物的保护。

Nowadays, with the development of society, the number of wild animals is decreasing (减少) dramatically and some of them are in danger of dying out(灭绝的危险).
There are many reasons for this. Firstly, some people are still hunting wild animals (猎杀野生动物). Secondly, the habitats(栖息地) of wild animals are being destroyed(破坏) by human beings. Lastly, the pollution of the environment also leads to the death of wild animals(导致野生动物的死亡).
What should we do to protect the wild animals On the one hand(一方面), we must make laws to stop hunting wild animals and destroying their habitats(破坏他们的栖息地). On the other hand(另一方面), we must take measures (采取措施)to stop pollution. Only in this way (只有这样) can we protect the wild animals better.
