单元主题意义 本单元的主题属于“人与自我，人与社会”这个主题语境下的子话题-生活。培养学生实践能力，做事又条理；输出驱动，为加深对祖国文化的理解，拓展文化视野，形成跨文化交际意识打下基础。培养学生热爱家乡和传统文化，增强文化自信；输入促成，有利于接受属于全人类文化的熏陶，培养国际意识。
单元教学目标 通过本单元的学习，学生能够： 目标a：学习掌握重点词汇，运用表示顺序的词汇描述做事情的过程，复习祈使句。 目标b：能抓住用英语交际的时机，在交际中把注意力集中在意思的表达上，必要时借助手势和表情。主动参与学习活动，善于和他人合作。 目标c：通过顺序词描述做事情的过程，表达自己的看法，使学生在人际交往中学会尊重和理解别人。学会交换不同的看法，了解他人的喜好，增进情谊，能够互帮互助。 目标d：用恰当的方式表达赞扬。 目标e: 能写出本单元学习的单词和句型，能运用简单的句子描述制作食物的过程。 与核心素养的关系： 学完本单元后，学生能够发散学生思维，拓宽学生知识渠道，通过合作学习，帮助学生了解并借鉴他人的有效学习方法，不断提高自己的学习效率。通过引导学生展望未来，及对未来生活的设计，来达到前景教育的目的，同时也通过对前景的设想，让学生在潜移默化中反省自己的现状，使之对目前的学习、生活习惯作适当的调整，并不断的改善自己的现状，使学生的理想观和价值观更为科学，更具发展价值。
整体教学思路及教学结构图 1.来源& 内容： 本单元是《新目标英语》系列教材之一Go for it !八年级上册的第八单元。本单元围绕“食品制作“这一话题展开。它贴近学生学习生活，所以学生有话可说，表达的欲望强烈，学习兴趣浓厚。而教材中Section B又呈现了三明治制作以及感恩节相关的内容，让学生更深层次地理解西方文化。这一激发了学生的学习兴趣，提高了他们的学习效率。通过本单元的学习，学生能了解中西方饮食文化的基本差异，并能用英语介绍一些中国传统节日的饮食，激发学生对家乡的热爱之情 。 2.纵向知识关联： 功能：祈使句的运用。 话题： 学习询问和描述一种食物的制作过程 语言知识： 能掌握本单元出现的重点词汇，并区分可数名词和不可数名词。 能根据所给信息进行语言组织和口语输出，利用图片、视频等信息进行积极的口语草操练，进行听力训练。 能正确用所学的语言功能描述食物制作的过程，并进行语言拓展练习，完成综合写作任务。 能运用简单的阅读策略阅读短文，获得相关信息，提高学生们的阅读能力 。 3.横向知识关联： （1 ）复习七年级下册的相关短语； （2 ）本单元也反复强调表达祈使句的用法，为以后的学习打下坚实的基础。 教学结构图：

Section B 1a-1e 听说课 第三课时 在听的过程中体验感知目标语言等内容，并学会提取所需要的关键信息。了解制作三明治的材料并熟练运用目标语言谈论制作过程。 通过问题启发式评价引导学生，评价学生对语篇主题的理解；通过个人思考和合作交流，评价学生主动参与到学习中的能力。
Section B 2a-2e 读写课 第四课时 学会重点词汇及目标语言；在阅读中尝试概括段落大意，加强对篇章的整体理解；在阅读中尝试找出文章的主线。 激励性评价贯穿始末，考虑到学生的心里特征以及英语这门学科的特殊性，只要学生参与课堂活动中来并进行认证的反馈，教师均应给出鼓励性评价，以此来提高学生学习的积极性。
Section B 3a-Self check 写作课 第五课时 掌握单元活体的写作框架；熟练运用目标语言，谈论食物制作过程和可数及不可数名词。 作文当堂互评，再分析作文的框架和参考词汇后，让学生进行小组互评，最后小组展示最佳作文，通过白板展示，供全班学生赏析，学生互评的方式可以让学生通过取长补短，共同进步。

教材（语篇）分析： 【what】 本课内容是一节阅读课。文本话题是机器人。 【why】 通过阅读课提高学生们的综合阅读能力。 【how】 首先通过头脑风暴使学生说出尽可能多的中国传统食物，在引入到美国的感恩节以及感恩节的传统食物----火鸡制作，然后让学生讨论，之后进入阅读提取必要信息，读后加强练习，进一步巩固。
学情分析： 自然情况 学习本单元前面的内容后，学生现在应该有了一些知识储备。 （二）已有基础 通过前几个单元阅读课的训练，阅读能力较以前有所提高。

个别学生阅读能力有待提高。 （四）解决措施 需要老师设置一系列的教学环节有效地指导。
