The film also uses some clever special effects. For example, the whispering furniture is as frightening as anything in modern films. The film does, however, have its faults. The voice of the Beast is rather strange, and the lovers flying at the end is a bit silly.

I highly recommend this film for several reasons. First of all, it is clear that the director greatly changes the plot because people used to think Ne Zha gives in to his fate. However, in the film, he fights against his unfair fate for liberty although he goes through a series of difficulties. What’s more, his famous line in the film attracts and holds the attention of the audience. That is “My fate is in my hand, not in the god’s.” Last but not least, the film uses some special effects with the purpose of creating him as a hero.
