Hi! I’m Alex Greenall. I’m thirteen and I go to Park School in Oxford, England. I go to school on weekdays，but not on Saturday and Sunday. This is my school day. I get up at half past seven in the morning, and then have breakfast.

(1) go to school中school前不需要加冠词。
eg：I go to school by bus.
我乘公共汽车去上学。
(2) 有些含有go to的短语的名词前须加定冠词　
eg：go to the movies 去看电影

eg: He gets up at six o’clock in the morning.

(1) get up是一个动词词组，在句中作谓语，与之相对应的短语是go to bed“上床睡觉”，指的是到床上去睡觉这个动作，并不一定“睡着”。

(1) start意为"开始；着手"，后面可加名词、不定式和动名词形式：
start + sth.
start + to do sth.
start +doing sth.
(2) start也可用作名词, 意为“开始；开端”。
eg: The start of the film is very interesting.
and then 相当于一个副词，意思是“于是，然后”。

拓展：then, and then的区别:
二者都表示“然后，于是”，都起着副词的作用，只是在语气上and then更强调前后两个事物时间上联系得更紧密些，and then可以引导并列句，then则不行。

go home是一个固定搭配,意为“回家”。因为home在这里作副词, 故home的前面不能加介词to。
