英语中，为了强调某些信息、平和句子结构，使上下文衔接更紧密，会使用一些语序不正常的句子，被称之为
“倒装句”。
正常语序：
We must take action (to improve our environment).
主 谓语 宾语 状语
谓语动词放在主语前面。
把谓语动词提到主语前，则句子为倒装语序，这样的句子是倒装句。

定语从句 Attributive Clause
倒装句分为完全倒装和部分倒装。
2.部分倒装：
结构：助动词、be动词、情态动词放在主语之前。
1.完全倒装：
结构： 整个谓语动词放在主语之前。
1.引起完全倒装的条件(1,3或2,3同时满足)：
(1)表示时间、地点、方式、方位的副词位于句首。
例如：here, there, away, down, in, off 等。
(2)表示时间、地点、方式、方位的介词短语位于句首。
例如：among the people, in front of the store 等，
(3)主语不是代词。
正常语序：Alice sat by the window with a novel in her hand.
正常语序:The boys rushed out. 男孩们冲了出去。
倒装语序：Out rushed the boys.
倒装语序：By the window sat Alice with a novel in her hand.
2.常考的引起部分倒装的条件：
正常语序：He knew little about the importance of the custom.
他对这个习俗的重要性所知甚少。
(1) 含有否定意义的副词或介词位于句首。例如：never, not , little, hardly 等。
改写：Lucy will never forgive him. 露西永远不会原谅他。
Never will Lucy forgive him.
The temperature seldom goes above thirty here.这的温度很少达到30度。
Seldom does the temperature go above thirty here.
倒装语序：Little did he know about the importance of the custom.
2.常考的引起部分倒装的条件：
正常语序：I didn’t realize how important Bill was to me only then.
只有那时我才意识到比尔对我多么重要。
(2) “only+状语” 位于句首。例如：only then; only in this way 等。
改写：We can do it better only in this way.只有这样我们才能做的更好。
Only in this way can we do it better.
He admitted his mistake only after the fault was pointed out.
只有错误被指出后，他承认了自己的错误。
Only after the fault was pointed out, did he admit his mistake.
倒装语序：Only then did I realize how important Bill was to me.
2.常考的引起部分倒装的条件：
正常语序：He can not only speak English, but also speak French.
他既会说英语也会说法语。
(3) “not only...but also...” 位于句首,“前倒,后不倒”。(but also 句子结构完整)
改写：He not only worked faster, but he also worked better.
他不仅干得更快，也干得更好。
Not only did he work faster, but he also worked better.
He is not only intelligent, but also he has a very good sense of humor.
他不仅聪明，还有很好的幽默感。
Not only is he intelligent, but also he has a very good sense of humor.
倒装语序：Not only can he speak English, but also he can speak French.
2.常考的引起部分倒装的条件：
正常语序：I did not notice that my glass was broken until I filled my glass.
直到我倒满杯子我才发现它碎了。
(4) “not until...” 位于句首(如果until+从句则“从句不倒，主句倒”)
改写：I didn’t realize I was wrong until then.
直到那时我才意识到我错了。
Not until then did I realize I was wrong.
The couple did not meet again until after the war.
直到战争后，这对夫妇才再次见面。
Not until after the war did the couple meet again.
倒装语序：Not until I filled my glass did I notice that it was broken.
2.常考的引起部分倒装的条件：
正常语序：It was so cold that we had to stay at home.
天太冷了我们不得不待在家里。
(5) “so+adj./adv...that+句子” 位于句首
改写：English is so important that we should learn it well.
英语如此的重要我们应该学好它。
So important is English that we should learn it well.
Light travels so fast that we can hardly imagine its speed.
光速很快，我们几乎没法想象它的速度。
So fast does light travel that we can hardly imagine its speed.
倒装语序：So cold was it that we had to stay at home.
2.常考的引起部分倒装的条件：
正常语序： Though/As he was exhausted, he didn’t give up.
尽管精疲力尽，他没有放弃。
(6) “adj./adv./n./do+as/though+剩下部分， 主句”
改写：As he tried hard, he was unable to make much progress.
尽管他作了努力，他却不能取得多大进步。
Hard as he tried, he was unable to make much progress.
Though he was a child, he can speak five languages.
尽管他是个孩子，他会说五种语言。
Child though he was, he can speak five languages.
倒装语序：Exhausted as/though he was, he didn’t give up.
2.常考的引起部分倒装的条件：
正常语序： As soon as Jim arrived, Tom started complaining.
吉姆一到汤姆就开始抱怨。
(7) “一...就...”no sooner...than.../hardly...when...结构的倒装。
改写：As soon as she rushed out of the house, tears of regret rolled down her cheek.
她一冲出家门，悔恨的泪水就顺着脸颊滚落下来。
No sooner had Jim arrived than Tom started complaining.
Hardly had she rushed out of the house when tears of regret rolled down her cheek.
No sooner had she rushed out of the house than tears of regret rolled down her cheek.
倒装语序：Hardly had Jim arrived when Tom started complaining.
2.常考的引起部分倒装的条件：
正常语序： He doesn’t like eating apples. I didn’t like eating apples, either.
不喜欢吃苹果。我也不喜欢。
(8) “也(不)是”的倒装 ”so/neither+助动词/情态动词/be动词 +主语（代词）”
正常语序：She is very good at maths. I am good at maths, too.
她很擅长数学。我也是。
倒装语序：She is very good at maths. So am I.
倒装语序：He doesn’t like eating apples. Neither do I.
2.常考的引起部分倒装的条件：
(9) if 引导的虚拟条件句，从句含有had,were,should 时，如果省略if，则把had, were, should 提到主语之前。
正常语序：If you had arrived earlier, you would have seen her.
如果你早来一点，你就能见到她了。
倒装语序：Had you arrived earlier, you would have seen her.
改写：If I were you, I would plant some trees round the house.
如果我是你，我会在房子周围种些树。
Were I you, I would plant some trees round the house.
If she should be interested, I’ll phone her.
如果她有兴趣，我会给她打电话。
Should she be interested, I’ll phone her.
用倒装句翻译下列句子：
