1．John’s blog.（教师通过呈现自己的博客与QQ空间，帮助学生理解“博客”的作用，接下来通过John的博客内容了解John做过的事情，进而引出新词，在学习新词的过程中，教师引导学生分析词汇，根据单词的音、义、形来学习单词，在学生掌握了单词的音与义之后，教师再要求学生尝试默写单词。）
2．Watch the video and then follow it to read the words and sentences.（学生观看视频，然后跟读单词与句子。）
3．Read the words.（第一次，学生朗读单词，两遍英文，两遍中文。第二次，学生一边拍手，一边朗读单词的原形与过去式。）
