Everything is going well here. I have moved to a new flat. It’s on the first floor, so I usually climb the ladders instead of taking the lift. I like this university. There are many interesting events designed. Yesterday, there was a tour organised by the Division of Academic and Public Programmes. I took part in the event, and learned much from this gallery talk. Examples:
I felt confused when I learned “biscuit” has different meanings. When American people say “cookies”, British people say “biscuits”. This was beyond me.
This was totally strange to the author. She probably felt a sudden shock when she learned “pants” can mean “trousers”.
I don’t know either “eggplants” or “aubergines”. What on earth could that be
