单元名称 Unit 1 Where did you go on vacation
单元教学设计说明 本单元教材以Where did you go on vacation?为中心话题,围绕着描述“过去发生的事情”展开,学习和运用一般过去时态的一般疑问句Did you go/see/buy...?和特殊疑问句Where/What/How...?询问过去的事件,让学生学会谈论和分享过去发生的事件。本课教学内容与学生的实际生活密切相关,易于引发学生运用简单的英语进行交流。在本课时中,学生通过交换对过去发生的事情的描述及看法,促进学生之间和师生之间的情感交流,增进情谊。Section A的主要学习内容是:复习一般过去时态和动词的规则与不规则变化,学习一般过去时态的一般疑问句:Did you...?及不定代词的用法。Section B安排了许多听、说、读、写的任务活动,教师在教学中可以灵活运用这些活动,将其中的一些活动进行变化或整合,充分调动学生参与的积极性,提高学生的听说读写能力。
学情分析 经过上学期最后两个单元的学习,学生对于“谈论经历及近期活动”这一语言功能有一定的了解,明白了一般过去时的意义、基本结构和基本用法,但有些学生还不能真正理解一般过去时的表意功能和未能熟练的应用一般过去时。大部分学生的英语基础不好,只有部分学生学习英语的积极性较高,乐于参与各项活动,所以在本单元的教学中,会运用情景体验的教学方法提高学习兴趣,从而引入实际生活,达到运用掌握。
单元目标与重点难点 语言能力: Learn to talk about past events:in this unit,students learn to talk about where they went and what things they did in the past. 思维品质: At the end of the class, the students will be able to enjoy different kinds of activities, to enjoy life. 学习能力: Through the learning to gain the ability to talk about the past events freely with others. Enable students to write travel dairies. Be able to use anything,something,anyone,everything,nothing,no one and so on. 文化意识: Enable students to recall and share their wonderful days they spent somewhere. 重点: Key Words: anyone,anywhere,wonderful,few,most,something,nothing,everyone,myself,yourself,seem,bored,someone,decide,try,wonder,difference,wait,below,enough,hungry,as,dislike Key Phrases: quite a few,of course,feel like,because of,on vacation,keep a diary,have a good time Key Sentences: Where did you go on vacation?I went to the mountains. 单元整体教学思路 教学方法 情境教学法:在本地单元教学中,教师将学生带入“假期旅行后初次见面”的情境,以生动的形式呈现出本单元主题“Where did you go on vacation ”,并组织学生在此情境中不断练习一般过去时的用法,达到学以致用的效果。 任务教学法:教师围绕“一般过去时态”及“复合不定代词”这两大重点语法,根据课本活动,设计出多种练习形式,包括对话、听力、解释、习题等,以促使学生更好掌握本单元重难点。 多媒体辅助教学:形象、生动,给教师带学生进入情境提供了载体,使课堂容量相对增加,给学生提供更多语言实践计划,有利于综合语言运用能力的提高。 教具:电脑多媒体等。 课时安排 4 periods Period 1 Section A (1a-2d) Period 2 Section A (GF-3c) Period 3 Section B(1a-2b) Period 4 Section B (2c-3c)

教学目标 ①语言能力: 1.After this class, more than 80% of the students can pronounce the new words and expressions and know their meanings: New York City, Central Park, anyone, anywhere interesting, wonderful, Huangguoshu Waterfall, quite a few. Sentence Patterns: Where did you go on vacation I went to New York City. Did you buy anything special Yes. I bought something special for my dad. 2.At the end of the class, 80% of the students will be able to use the target sentences to talk about their vacations in the past. ②文化意识: After this class, more than 95% of the students will be able to be aware of the beauty of the nature, make them pay attention to their own behaviors when they are travelling and call for others to protect the environment. ③思维品质: Under the teacher's guide, most students will be able to evaluate their own behaviors when they are travelling and tell which behavior is good or bad for the nature and become a responsible citizen full of positive energy. ④学习能力: Through this period, most students will be able to improve their listening and speaking ability, keep an interest in English learning, master the usage of simple past tense.

活动意图: 以学生假期旅行为话题开始本节课的教学,引起了学生的学习兴趣和用英语表达的欲望。通过讨论为本课的学习掀开了序幕,使学生了解本节课的新话题。
Step 2 Presentation
教师活动 1.Work on 1a. Ask Ss to look at the pictures and try to say something about them. Read the activities. 2.Work on 1b. Play the tape for Ss to listen to 1b. 3.Work on 2a. Play the tape for Ss to listen to 2a and try to find the answers. Where did the people go on vacation 4.Work on 2b. Ask two students to practice the conversations and talk about their vacations and their feelings. 学生活动 Talk about their vacation and their feelings according to the conversation of 2c.

Step 4 Production
教师活动 Work on 2d Play the tape for Ss to listen and answer the questions. Make Ss read and role-play the conversation. Have Ss to fill in the blanks according to the conversation. Work in pairs to role-play the conversation. Then present in class. 学生活动 Read the conservation of 2d and answer the question, then role-play the conversation.

Sentence Patterns: Did you do anything interesting buy anything special The only problem was that there was nothing much to do in the evening but read. Still no one seemed to be bored. 2.At the end of the class, 80% of the students will be able to use the target sentences to talk about their vacations in the past and express their feelings about vacations. ②文化意识: After this class, more than 95% of the students will be able to be aware of the beauty of the nature, make them pay attention to their own behaviors when they are travelling and call for others to protect the environment. ③思维品质: Under the teacher's guide, most students will be able to evaluate their own behaviors when they are travelling and tell which behavior is good or bad for the nature and become a responsible citizen full of positive energy. ④学习能力: Through this period, most students will be able to improve their speaking ability, keep an interest in English learning, understand the different pronouns and knows to use them correctly.

Make Ss read them out.
