the特指某(些)物,其后既可以用名词可数的单数,也可以用可数名词的复数。
this指代近处的物品,其后跟可数名词单数。
that指代远处的物品,其后跟可数名词单数。
当名词前有限定词时,顺序为冠词/指示代词、形容词。

基数词
1.概念
表示事物数量多少的数词叫作基数词,如one, two, three 等。
2.基数词的拼写
(1)one—twelve, 无规律可言,应当逐一记忆。
(2) thirteen—nineteen,表示“ 十几”, 在个位数后加后缀-teen, 读
/ti n/,但要注意下面几个词的拼写:thirteen(13), fifteen(15), eighteen(18)
(3) twenty 到ninety,表示“ 几十”, 以-ty 结尾,但需注意下面几个词的拼写:twenty(20),thirty(30), forty(40), fifty(50), eighty(80)。
(4) “几十几”的表达方法:用整十数加个位数表示,中间用连字符“-”把整十数和个位数连接起来。如:twenty-five(25), sixty-eight(68)。
(5) 一百的表达方式为one hundred 或a hundred。 要表示“几百”,用具体数字加上hundred,如five hundred(500),注意此时的hundred 是单数形式。表示“几百几”时,要在百位数和十位数( 或个位数) 之间加and。如:one hundred and two(102)。
基数词记忆规则歌诀:
基数词不难记,找出规律很容易:
零至十二形各异,加上-teen 为十几;
thirteen, fifteen看仔细,eighteen只有一个t;
twenty 却是很奇怪,forty 本身也不乖,
eighty 一起搞例外,跟着也把规则坏;
十位后面是个位,表示数字“几十几”;
表示“几百几十几”,and 常把百、十系。
勤学妙记加练习,hundred就是你的好成绩。
3.基数词的用法
表示数量,置于名词之前。 She has two brothers.她有两个弟弟。
表示编号,置于名词之后。 They are in Class Five.他们在五班。
表示号码。 His phone number is 337-5683.
他的电话号码是337-5683。
表示时间。 It’s 10:00 now. 现在是10 点。
表示年龄。 My sister is 8 years old. 我妺妺8 岁了。
用于计算。 Two and four is six. 2加4等于6。
基数词只能修饰可数名词,要注意基数词和名词在数上要保持一致。
e.g. one banana 一根香蕉 five boys 五个男孩
【难点】hundred, thousand, million等与具体数字连用时,用单数形式,且后不接介词of;当其前面没有具体数字时,要用复数形式,且后面要加of。
e.g. three hundred teachers 三百位老师
hundreds of students 数百名学生
how much 常用于询问某物的价格,其结构为“How much + be 动词+主语 ”。
①当主语是可数名词单数或不可数名词时,be 动词用is,答语为:“It’s...”;
②当主语是可数名词复数或不仅仅是一种东西时,be 动词用are,答语为:“They’re...”上述两种情况都可直接回答钱数。

③询问商品价格时,还可以用“ What’s the price of... ” 句型,意为“……的价格是多少?”
无论被询问的物品是不可数名词还是可数名词的单数或复数,be 动词都用is,不能用are。其答语为:“It’s...( 价格是)……”。
